April is just around the corner, right? And what special day comes with it? April Fools’ Day, of course. It’s the perfect time to pull a few pranks on your friends. So, what kind of April Fools’ event quests are waiting in MapleLand? Today, we’re going over Tricking the Liar, The Empress’s Enhancement, and Helping Grandpa Gordon.

Tricking the Liar

Apparently, a monster named Henky has been planning to fool adventurers by finding a potion that lets monsters turn into humans. So in this case, I guess a little lying is necessary.

To stop that, Cassandra asks you to collect 10 Yellow Transformation Petals. These are dropped by level-range monsters.

Personally, Authorized Personnel Only, where Scarlion spawns, is the spot I’d recommend the most. The problem is that every channel was packed, so it was tough to grind there. In the end, I had to settle for Lab - Area C-3 as my second choice.

Once you’ve collected everything, talk to Henky. Choose the dialogue options in this order: I’m here to help you, No way that’s true, A potion that turns you human, Actually, I’m a monster too.

In the end, Henky never gets to become human. For clearing the quest, you’ll receive 17,400 EXP and a Pinocchio Nose.

The Empress’s Enhancement

Master Grendel says he joined forces with Empress Cygnus of Ereve to create the Ultimate Adventurer. Since the player says they don’t know either Cygnus or Ereve, he just goes quiet.

Anyway, the player decides to accept the Empress’s guidance. The quest objective here is to collect 20 Wollo from level-range monsters.

Wollo drops when you defeat level-range monsters. Just like the previous quest, simply hunt within your level range and gather the required items.

Once you’ve collected them all, Cygnus sends you to Ereve.

Cygnus thanks you for bringing the Wollo, but says you still look far from ready to stand against the Black Mage. Of course, the player doesn’t even know who the Black Mage is. Anyway, before leaving Ereve, Cygnus tells you to go talk to Oz.

Talk to Oz, and you’ll receive a Flame Gear Skill Coupon. It’s available until April 1.

Helping Grandpa Gordon

Cassandra says Grandpa Gordon is making a doll named Pinocchio, but the face still isn’t finished. So she asks you to defeat level-range monsters and collect 30 Yellow Hard Wood.

Once you’ve collected everything, you’ll receive 1 Liar Tree Sap 100%, which can enhance Pinocchio’s Nose, and 22,846 EXP.

Wrapping Up

Today, we went over the MapleLand April Fools’ event quests. It sounds like the release of MapleLand 2.0 isn’t too far off now. Personally, this event was pretty exhausting, but at the same time, I’m even more excited since 2.0 seems to be getting closer.
