Hey, adventurer~!

Having fun and making the most of life in Erinn?

Life in Erinn just wouldn't be the same without playing instruments!

Trying out all kinds of sheet music on different instruments is so much fun~

Playing solo is fun, but...

getting everyone together, each with their own instrument? That's a blast, too!

Let me share a few favorite memories of making music together!

Hopefully, these stories will get you hooked on ensemble play, too😉

A Little Music to Celebrate

One of our guildmates had something worth celebrating,

so we all gathered around the giant campfire in Colhen,

cooked up a big feast to share, and played some music to celebrate!

We all put on party hats and used the firecracker emote

to give our guildmate a proper celebration🥳🎉

The star of our set that day was ‘Congratulations’ by Cliff Richard,

and we grabbed the sheet music from this >link< for our performance!

It's a classic celebration song, so this sheet music is a handy one to have around👍

Save it for later, and get everyone playing when a friend or fellow adventurer has something to celebrate!

After the celebratory music and firecrackers,

we all lined up for a photo to remember the occasion.

Then we got our instruments back out

and had a great time swapping sheet music~

It Isn't Lunar New Year Without This Song✨

Early in the new year, someone I knew was playing with an ensemble in Dunbarton Square.

I listened a little closer and recognized ‘Magpie, Magpie, New Year's Day’!

I used to hear that song all the time around Lunar New Year as a kid,

so hearing an ensemble play it in Erinn was such a lovely surprise~

They said I could copy the sheet music, so I jotted it down and tucked it into my music book!

When we all got together on Lunar New Year's Day, I got to play it for my guildmates aboard our guild ship.

They must have liked it, too, because they copied it down~

Maybe it was the arrangement, but this version felt extra lively and upbeat!

We all played in hanbok, which really got us into the holiday spirit,

and I can still picture us playing together so clearly~🥰

It's a shame I don't know where that sheet music came from, since I wasn't the one who found it.

But I did find some other sheet music for Magpie, Magpie, New Year's Day to share with you!

>Head here< for an ensemble score with a warm, cozy feel.

I'll have to play this version with everyone next Lunar New Year~

Waiting for the Sunrise

Before that Lunar New Year get-together,

there was the time we gathered on the beach in Colhen to watch the New Year's sunrise

and played music together with all my guildmates.

We had no set playlist that day—we played Korean pop, songs from abroad,

drama soundtracks, and even anime songs, all on a whim!

Everyone was buzzing with excitement for the sunrise and having a blast playing~

One of our guildmates was playing the piano,

and I somehow got stuck in it! We all cracked up, and everyone teased me about getting stuck in the piano😆

I'd been hoping to get a photo of us all playing together,

so when that funny little moment happened, I snapped a shot!

What do you think? Can you tell how much fun we were having just from the photo?ㅎㅎ

Playing the 에이렐 BGM Ourselves

Lullaby of the Wind—made even better by idol CHUU's vocals!

Yep, it's the song you hear when you head in to take on the 에이렐 raid!

I love it so much that I've kept going back to YouTube to listen ever since it came out,

and as luck would have it, a fellow adventurer had made and shared sheet music for it!

Grab the sheet music >here<~

The ensemble score has parts for harp, flute 1, flute 2, and drum,

so I played the 3-note harmony harp, while 3 guildmates handled the flutes and drum.

It felt a little more European—Celtic, maybe(?)—to me,

and hearing each instrument's distinct sound blend with the others was such a treat~

Playing a song I love with people I'm close to made me love it that much more💘

I hope you all give it a try at least once!

The official recording is great, but playing it yourself in-game is pretty amazing, too!

With warmer spring days on the way,

why not get everyone together and bring along sheet music for your favorite songs

for a fun little ensemble session?

Light a campfire, share some food,

and swap sheet music—here's to a little time to relax and recharge together~

See you next time!

Bye~🖐🖐🖐
