News of the Lotte World x MapleStory collaboration had been teased quite a while ago, and the official opening date has now been confirmed as April 3. With that in mind, I’ve gathered the key points from the information released so far. The schedule is as follows.

The Maple Island zone is scheduled to open on April 3, and will cover about 600 pyeong with themes based on the villages of Henesys, Arcana, and Ludibrium.

April 29, MapleStory’s birthday, will be a full-day private rental of Lotte World

During Maple Now on March 14, it was mentioned that “April 29 has been made into a day where only heroes who play MapleStory can come and visit. Of course, various offline events will also be held in abundance.”

At the moment, no additional details have been shared beyond this, so the participation method will likely be revealed later through official notices and live broadcasts.

Additional collaborations continuing through May

Along with Lotte World, Seokchon Lake, Lotte World Tower, Lotte World Mall, and the Jamsil Square area are also set to be filled with MapleStory content. The Seokchon Lake events will begin in May, and a giant Orange Mushroom is said to be floated there. According to the announcement, from March through May, visitors to the Jamsil area should be able to spot MapleStory-related content in one form or another.
