Lotte World Maple Island: Full Rundown (MapleStory 23rd Anniversary)
네오필
MapleStory has arrived at Lotte World Adventure to celebrate its 23rd anniversary.
It’s already a little surprising to realize this game has been around for 23 years, but hearing that it’s getting its own theme park collaboration to mark the milestone is even more impressive. The scale really does feel different here.
Here’s a quick breakdown of when to go, where it is, and what you can enjoy.
Maple Island in Lotte World Adventure

Maple Island in Lotte World Adventure opens on Friday, April 3. Honestly, that’s pretty perfect timing for a fiery Friday.
You’ll find it on the east side of Magic Island (outdoor) at Lotte World Adventure, and starting on opening day, April 3, visitors can also take part in the Maple Island quest.
The main attractions will run from 10:00 AM to 8:50 PM.
Attractions

There are four main attractions in total.
The first is Stone Express.
This low-to-medium intensity roller coaster follows a storyline where you set out to find the stone spirits that have been scattered far and wide. Along the way, you can also track down the adorable Pink Bean.

The second is Arcana Ride.
This is a slow-moving, healing-style ride that travels along a rail. Its theme centers on gathering moonlight into a leaf flute alongside the spirits and singing the spirits’ song to restore life to the Spirit Tree.
Because the focus is more on soaking in the atmospheric views, it looks like a great pick for couples, families, and lighter users alike.

The third is Eos Tower.
This drop tower attraction repeatedly rotates, rises, and falls around a tower roughly 12 meters tall. Story-wise, you team up with toy soldiers to defeat Blockpus and head to the top of the tower to meet Pink Bean.

The fourth is Pink Bean Gyro Spin.
The existing Gyro Spin has been reworked with a Pink Bean concept, turning its 10-meter-wide circular platform into a pink record-shaped disc. The result is an effect that makes it look like a giant record spinning in place.
Programs

There are two main programs.
The parade is the Lotty’s Adventure Parade, which runs for 30 minutes starting at 2:00 PM, and MapleStory monsters are expected to appear as well. It takes place along the parade route on Adventure 1F.
The media mapping show runs from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, with a 1-minute-20-second video looping throughout. This 3D multimedia mapping show takes place at Magic Castle and features Henesys, Arcana, and Mapleland. The location is Magic Castle on Magic Island.
Goods and Food

A total of 8 Maple Island goods items have been revealed.
The lineup includes the Eos Tower drink bottle, attraction plush keyring, White Sand Bunny ball cap, Pink Bean ball cap, Yeti bucket hat, Stone Spirit magic wand, Mini Bean random mini plush keyring, and Stone Express Pink Bean keyring.
Overall, it looks like a direct hit for anyone who loves cute, detailed merch.

For food, Blue Potion & Red Potion and the Pink Bean Sundae have been revealed, and Maple Sweets will also be announced later.
There will also be separate Maple Attack goods and food items, which are covered below.
Maple Attack with Lotte

Alongside that, the 23rd anniversary collaboration event Maple Attack with Lotte is running from March 14 to June 14. It’s a limited-time event held throughout Jamsil Lotte World Adventure, while Maple Island will remain as a permanent themed zone even after the event ends.
So if you’ve been seeing reviews and visit posts popping up already, they’re essentially about this Maple Attack with Lotte event.
It’s made up of three main parts.

First, the photo zone lets you take pictures with Pink Bean, Maple heroes, Henesys Village, Arcana, and the Spirit Tree.

The experience zone features a create-your-own-character activity, the Pink Secret Room table, and a retro game zone.
As for performances, the media mapping show introduced earlier is currently underway, and the Lotty’s Adventure Parade as well as Smile With MapleStory, where you can take photos directly with Pink Bean, are also planned for later.

Beyond that, you can also pick up a variety of goods and food at the Maple Shop.
Wrapping Up

That wraps up this full guide to Maple Island at Lotte World.
There’s already plenty to enjoy if you go now, and if you visit starting April 3, there’ll be even more to check out. Of course, going twice might be even better.
And in-game, the 23rd anniversary Maple Attack event and Hyper Burning Booster are also currently running, so this might be a good chance to log back in after a while and pick up some nice cosmetic items too.
