MapleStory’s 23rd anniversary event, 'MAPLE ATTACK', has finally kicked off! The big idea behind this event is that the entire Jamsil area is being transformed into the world of MapleStory, and this Lotte World collaboration is where it all begins.

Every time I passed by Lotte World in Jamsil, construction was in full swing, and now the Lotte World Maple Island Zone is set to open on April 3. Personally, this really feels like it could be the biggest Maple offline event ever!

In this post, I’ll break down everything from the MapleStory in Lotte World schedule to the Maple Island attractions and goods!

01. Full Schedule

April 29	On MapleStory’s 23rd anniversary, Lotte World is reserved exclusively for users for the entire day

April 29 will be a very special day, as Lotte World will be closed to the general public and open only to Maple users. Since it lines up exactly with Maple’s service anniversary, the date feels even more meaningful, and for one day only, we may actually get to experience a Lotte World filled entirely with Maple fans. If I get the chance, I definitely want to go!

02. Maple Island Zone (Opens April 3)

Starting on April 3, the ‘Maple Island Zone’ will open on the east side of Magic Island, the outdoor area. This MapleStory-themed zone will span around 600 pyeong and feature 3 brand-new attractions!

Stone Express : A roller coaster themed around searching for the scattered Stone Spirits

Arcana Ride : A family attraction inspired by the mysterious forest of Arcana

Eos Tower : A tower-style drop ride inspired by Eos Tower

03. Photo Zones & Experience Zones

There are plenty of photo zones, too!

All around the venue, you’ll find photo spots that recreate iconic MapleStory locations, including Find Pink Bean!, Become a Maple Hero!, the Pink Bean Portal Gate, Henesys Village, and Arcana’s Spirit Tree.

The experience zones look just as packed!

At the Meeting Plaza on Adventure 1F, you can scan a QR code to create your very own Maple character. Once you’re done, your character will appear on the giant media tree screen, which stands about 10 meters tall. Existing users can even bring in their actual in-game character as-is!

There will also be separate areas like the Pink Bean Secret Room Table and a retro game zone, so I definitely recommend checking them out :)

04. Performances & Hidden Events

Right now, a MapleStory-themed Magic Castle 3D Multimedia Mapping Show is being presented every night.

And while full details still haven’t been revealed, starting in April there will also be the Lotty’s Adventure Parade with Maple characters, as well as Smile with MapleStory, where you can meet Pink Bean, so these are definitely worth keeping an eye on!

05. Maple Shop (Food/Goods)

There’s plenty of food to look forward to as well!

Along with drinks inspired by in-game items like Red Potion and Blue Potion, you’ll also find Maple-themed food at various stores throughout Lotte World, including Orange Mushroom Cheese Bread, Pink Bean Sundae, and the Maple Wedge Basket :)

And of course, we can’t forget the goods.

At the indoor Adventure 1F goods shop, you’ll find items like an Orange Mushroom crossbody bag, Stone Spirit headband, and Pink Bean LED keyring. Inside the Maple Island Zone, exclusive goods are also scheduled to go on sale, including an Eos Tower drink bottle, attraction plush keyrings, White Sand Bunny and Pink Bean ball caps, a Yeti bucket hat, and a Stone Spirit magic wand—so make sure to check out both locations!

It looks like not only Maple users, but even people who don’t know Maple all that well, will still have a great time. There are also so many adorable goods that this honestly feels like the kind of event you’d want to visit more than once during the event period!
