MapleStory’s 23rd anniversary event, “MAPLE ATTACK,” has finally begun! The event is all about transforming the Jamsil area into the world of MapleStory, starting with a Lotte World collaboration.

Every time I passed by Lotte World in Jamsil, construction was in full swing. Now, the Lotte World Maple Island Zone is scheduled to open on April 3. I think this might be the largest in-person MapleStory event yet.

In this post, I’ll cover everything from the MapleStory in Lotte World schedule to Maple Island activities and merchandise!

01. Full Schedule

April 3	Maple Island Zone officially opens - 3 new rides - Maple Island quests become available
April 29	MapleStory’s 23rd anniversary: Lotte World reserved exclusively for players all day

April 29 will be a special day: Lotte World will close to the general public and welcome only MapleStory players. The date is especially meaningful because it marks MapleStory’s launch anniversary, and for that one day, it looks like we’ll get to enjoy Lotte World surrounded entirely by fellow players. I’m hoping to go if I get the chance!

02. Maple Island Zone (Opens April 3)

The “Maple Island Zone” opens on April 3 on the eastern side of the outdoor Magic Island area. This MapleStory-themed zone spans approximately 600 pyeong and will feature 3 new attractions!

Stone Express: A roller coaster themed around a search for scattered Spirit Rocks

Arcana Ride: A family attraction that brings the mysterious forest of Arcana to life

Eos Tower: A tower-style drop ride inspired by Eos Tower

03. Photo Spots & Interactive Zones

There are plenty of photo spots, too!

Photo spots throughout the park bring the world of MapleStory to life, including Find Pink Bean!, Become a Maple Warrior!, the Pink Bean Portal Gate, Henesys, and Arcana’s Spirit Tree.

There’s also plenty to explore in the interactive zones.

Scan the QR code at the Meeting Plaza on Adventure’s 1st floor to create your own MapleStory character. Your finished character will appear on a giant media tree screen approximately 10m tall. Existing players can even import their own in-game characters!

The Pink Bean Secret Room Table and a retro gaming zone will also be open as separate activities. I recommend stopping by :)

04. Shows & Hidden Events

A MapleStory-themed Magic Castle 3D multimedia projection mapping show is currently running every night.

Full details haven’t been announced yet, but April will also bring Lotty’s Adventure Parade featuring MapleStory characters and Smile with MapleStory, where you can meet Pink Bean. Keep an eye out for both!

05. Maple Shops (Food/Merchandise)

There’s a wide variety of food to try, too!

Shops throughout Lotte World will offer MapleStory-themed food and drinks, from beverages inspired by in-game items such as Red Potions and Blue Potions to Orange Mushroom cheese bread, Pink Bean sundaes, and Maple wedge baskets :)

Of course, there’s merchandise to look forward to as well.

The merchandise shop on the 1st floor of the indoor Adventure area offers Orange Mushroom crossbody bags, Spirit Rock headbands, Pink Bean LED keyrings, and more. Exclusive merchandise will also be sold inside the Maple Island Zone, including Eos Tower drink bottles, attraction-themed plush keyrings, White Desert Rabbit and Pink Bean baseball caps, Yeti bucket hats, and Spirit Rock magic wands. Be sure to visit both locations!
