Y3K is short for Year 3000, and it refers to the kind of futuristic, cybernetic styling you’d expect to see in the 3000s.

That’s why metallic outfits, avatar- or AI-inspired makeup, silver metallic textures, and bold accessories are all having a moment.

BLACKPINK’s Lisa, who has collaborated with MapleStory before, also showcased Y3K fashion in her song ROCKSTAR.

So today, I’m putting together a Y3K coordi with a MapleStory character.

For the first coordi, I built a space-inspired look around neon pink.

Hair: Aren Hair (red/blue mix dye)

Face: White Eyes Jo-nun (purple/gold 55:45)

Face Accessory: Soft Blush

Eye Accessory: Full-on Charm

Hat: Space Bunny (overall color 66, saturation +44, brightness +28)

Outfit: Cosmic Suit (F) (overall color 52, saturation +47, brightness -5)

Shoes: Cosmic Step (F) (overall color 70, saturation 0, brightness 0)

Gloves: Neon Diamond Bracelet

Weapon: Candy Angel

For the second coordi, I used silver coordi items to create that metallic look that’s trending right now.

Hair: Mist Celine Hair (black)

Face: White Eyes Jo-nun (black)

Face Accessory: Soft Blush

Eye Accessory: Hologram Sunglasses (overall color 0, saturation -99, brightness -99)

Hat: Spirit Note (overall color 66, saturation -99, brightness +47)

Outfit: Ubel’s Clothes

Shoes: Geumda’s Trail (overall color 0, saturation -99, brightness -99)

Weapon: Spirit Commander Whip (overall color 0, saturation -99, brightness +52)

It may be a big trend right now, but it’s still a style that can feel intimidating to wear in real life,

so I’m sure a lot of people want to try it even if they can’t quite pull it off day to day.
