Last year's MapleStory 22nd anniversary in-person event was Pink Bean's Nationwide Campus Tour,

which made stops at several universities.

This year's MapleStory 23rd anniversary in-person event is Maple Island,

a MapleStory-themed area coming to Lotte World from April 3 to June 14.

I watched the Maple Island tutorial video on Lotte World's YouTube channel, and I'm already excited!

April 3 can't come soon enoughㅎㅎ

Let's take a look at what's in store.

Attractions

Stone Express is a roller coaster themed around the MapleStory mascot Stone Spirit,

with a short, simple track.

Arcana Ride is a spinning ride with 8 vehicles

circling Arcana's Spirit Tree.

Eos Tower is a drop tower modeled after Ludibrium's Eos Tower.

All three rides are designed for kids, so they're also a fun option for adults who get nervous about rides.

Merch

Here's the merch listed on the Maple Island website.

I was a little disappointed that there wasn't as much merch as I'd expected, but then I watched the Maple Island Instagram video...

Turns out there's lots of lovely, cute merch!

With the opening set for April 3, it looks like the website isn't quite finished yet.
