MapleStory has evolved again!! MapleStory is a theme park now!!
마포감튀
Hey everyone.
This is Mapo Gam튀.
Today I’m going to introduce the MapleStory theme park!
MapleStory characters in real life! And yep, it’s happening at Lotte World as an actual theme park!!
Let’s check out what kind of place this is going to be!!
Parade & Show
First up!
They gave us a quick look at this in the showcase too—it’s a show where MapleStory gameplay gets projected onto Lotte World’s Magic Castle.
Since the attraction zone hasn’t opened yet, this is the only show you can see right now.
Second—the parade!!
This looks like it’s going to be a parade featuring MapleStory characters,
but there’s still no schedule out for it yet.
Apparently, the parade will follow Lotte World’s indoor parade route.
My guess is it’ll probably start on the official opening day, April 3!
Attractions
Maple Island isn’t just a themed zone set up for looks—they’re adding attractions too!
It looks like 3 brand-new attractions are planned.
Stone Express looks like it’ll be the thrill ride,
and Arcana Ride will probably be more of a slow-paced attraction where you just soak in the MapleStory theme, kind of like Sindbad’s Adventure.
Eos Tower seems like it’ll be something similar to the old bungee drop-style attraction.
Since it hasn’t officially opened yet, there’s still only limited info. Once it opens, I definitely want to try it out for myself!
Other Facilities
It also looks like Maple Island will be selling limited-edition goods.
They’re all cute, but the drink bottle is my favorite.
It also looks like they’ll be selling food that really goes all-in on the Maple concept,
and I’m super curious what’s actually going to show up under that coming soon teaser.
Going by what’s happening in MapleStory right now...
Maybe a Yeti sandwich, Pink Bean bread, or even coin chocolates?
Opening Schedule
Maple Island is officially set to open on April 3!!
There’s still only limited info for now, but once it opens, I’ll go check it out myself and bring back more details.
And seeing that there’s something called a “Quest,”
I feel like there could also be some kind of on-site interactive event, kind of like USJ’s Mario World.
Let’s all look forward to Maple Island opening together.
