In this post, we're celebrating MapleStory's 23rd birthday with some big news:

you can experience the world of MapleStory in real life—

and it's one of the most exciting, welcome surprises yet!

MAPLE ATTACK with LOTTE

A portal to Maple World has appeared in the Jamsil area of Seoul!

The Maple Attack in-person event runs from March 14 to June 14,

with locations across Jamsil including Lotte World Mall, Lotte World, Seokchon Lake, Jamsil Square, and more...

You'll be able to find MapleStory all around you!

The event has only just begun, so details are still limited.

But let's dive into the highlight of this post—and the news I'm most excited about:

Maple Island!

MAPLE ISLAND

A portal to Maple Island has appeared at Lotte World!

(It officially opens on April 3. It's still under construction for now!)

You'll find it on the eastern side of Magic Island, the outdoor area of Lotte World Adventure.

Alongside a variety of rides (attractions) themed around MapleStory itself,

there will be plenty of photo zones, experience zones, and performances to enjoy.

Let's take a closer look at each!

Attractions

The latest Maple Now was practically a mini showcase, with rehearsal footage

giving us a preview of the attractions we'll get to enjoy—the heart and soul of any amusement park!

스톤 익스프레스

As you can see in the photo, this attraction looks like a roller coaster,

and it looks set to deliver an exhilarating burst of speed, as though you're riding a Stone Spirit mount.

아르카나 라이드

This attraction takes you on an adventure aboard a mysterious Spirit Tree.

While it's hard to picture exactly how it will work, it looks set to capture Arcana's distinctively mysterious yet cozy atmosphere.

(Perhaps something like 쁘띠빵빵...?)

Eos Tower

This attraction looks similar to Gyro Drop, the crown jewel of Magic Island.

It looks set to send you up the towering Eos Tower

before a thrilling, split-second drop—as if you've just used a Return Scroll!

Since it recreates Eos Tower, which I visited countless times in Ludibrium,

this is the attraction I'm personally most excited about.

Photo Zones

No amusement park visit full of laughter and fun would be complete without a few photos to remember it by!

There will also be photo zones where you can capture those happy moments,

so be sure to take home some new memories to treasure forever.

They're mainly located on Adventure's 1st floor and on Magic Island, so they should be easy to find.

Experience Zones

A variety of experience zones will offer new ways to enjoy MapleStory, too.

For now, we'll have to keep that excitement in check and piece together the details from just a few photos,

but these zones look set to offer fresh, memorable experiences beyond the rides.

Parade & Digital Mapping

A MapleStory-themed parade and 3D multimedia mapping show are also planned.

Don't miss the dazzling parade, a Lotte World experience that brings out your inner child,

or the mapping show, with that stirring sense of wonder it inspires as you watch!

Merchandise & Food

There will also be special merchandise and food available exclusively at Maple Island.

There may be even more merchandise and food beyond what's shown in these photos,

so it looks like there's plenty to look forward to!
