I’m Jaymer, a Nexon Picker.

It’s pretty common to see games team up with K-pop singers now and then.
Mabinogi Mobile did the same for the release of the Eirel Raid, bringing in singer CHUU as the vocalist for the
exclusive OST “Lullaby of the Wind”.

You can even hear CHUU’s song during the actual raid battle
through the rhythm-game-style pattern “Quartet of Collaboration.”

I listen to K-pop pretty often anyway,
so whenever singers show up in games I already love,
it always feels oddly exciting to me!

So today, I wanted to share a few K-pop singers I personally hope to see collaborate next!

1. Ailee

Ailee is pretty well known as a singer who likes Mabinogi Mobile.
She’s also active as a Chzzk streamer.

She’s known for enjoying games in general too,
and she seems to be playing Mabinogi consistently as well!

She’s even on the same Aira server as me, so that made me feel even more glad to see her there.

I personally really love Ailee’s song “Evening Sky.”
It’s one I used to sing a lot at karaoke when I was younger, and I think it matches Mabinogi Mobile’s vibe surprisingly well too.

It feels like the kind of song that would be perfect by a campfire at the end of the day.
Since she’s clearly so genuine about Mabinogi, I’d really love to see an official collab with Ailee happen someday!

2. IU

IU is active not just as a K-pop singer, but as an actress too!
She was once known as the nation’s little sister, so there’s probably hardly anyone who doesn’t know her :)

Her signature vocal tone also feels like a really natural fit for games.

In particular, her existing songs Love poem and Through the Night have such a soft, warm atmosphere
that they naturally make me think of Mabinogi’s vibe!

I also think she’d suit the kind of OST style CHUU sang this time really well.

3. YOUNHA

YOUNHA is also well known for her interest in subculture areas like games and anime.

Her songs in particular tend to have a powerful, immersive atmosphere,
so I’ve found myself thinking more than once that I’d love to hear her on a game OST.

Personally, I really like the song Event Horizon.
While playing through the story in Mabinogi Mobile,
I feel like it would fit perfectly if it kicked in during a really important moment.

Maybe not for Eirel, but when facing a more threatening, massive boss,
I think YOUNHA’s voice would suit the scene incredibly well!

So that was my list of three K-pop singers who I think would be a great match for Mabinogi Mobile.
