MapleStory really went and did it this time!!! It’s collaborating with Lotte World.

And this isn’t just a simple collab—they’re getting ready to unveil ‘Maple Island’ as a full MapleStory-themed space.

I still remember the showcase at the ice rink back in 2023,
but this time they’re actually creating a whole themed zone, which is so exciting to see!

I looked into it because I was curious how everything would be set up,
and honestly, I was surprised by how big it looks. Let’s get into the details :D

1. Maple Island

Maple Island will be built inside Magic Island and cover around 600 pyeong.

‘Henesys,’ ‘Arcana,’ and ‘Ludibrium’
Those are the 3 concepts it’ll be divided into.

Getting to actually walk through villages we’ve only seen in-game!
If you’re a MapleStory player, there’s no way you’d want to miss this, right?

It doesn’t just feel like a simple exhibition—the whole space looks fully themed, and that makes me even more hyped!

2. 3 New Rides

If you search on YouTube, you can find test-run videos. (Someone else uploaded them!)

First up is ‘Stone Express’.

It’s a family roller coaster built around the Stone Spirit concept.
Rather than going for intense thrills, it looks like a light, easy ride that all ages can enjoy.

I also heard the track is on the shorter side, so there’s even a chance it’ll run two laps in a row.

This honestly feels like it could be the most popular ride in Maple Island.

Next is ‘Eos Tower’. It’s a drop-style attraction inspired by Ludibrium’s Eos Tower.

It’s about 12 meters tall, so it seems more like a fun, approachable ride than something seriously scary.

The speed also looks pretty gentle, so it seems like kids could ride it without much trouble too!

I can definitely see this being a big hit with families.

You can think of it as a milder version of Gyro Drop.

Last is ‘Arcana Ride’. It’s a rotating ride that circles around the Spirit Tree.
It’s in a similar category to a carousel, and it looks like the kind of ride you can enjoy while just quietly soaking in the atmosphere ㅎㅎ

3. Photo Zones + Food + Goods

At the character plaza in front of the main gate, sculptures of Pink Bean, Yeti, and the Stone Spirit will be installed.

From the videos other people uploaded, the photo zones actually look more varied than I expected!

There definitely seems like there’ll be plenty of fun photo spots ㅎㅎ

This feels like one of those things that’ll hit way better when you see it in person.

At ‘Maple Sweets’, they’ll also be selling Maple-themed food.

Food is a pretty important part of the amusement park experience too, so the fact that it’ll be put together to match the theme is definitely something to look forward to!

‘Maple Store’ will also be selling Lotte World-exclusive Maple goods.

If you’re a Maple fan, this is definitely not something you can just casually walk past.

I’m really curious to see what kinds of goods they’ll have!

On top of that, they’re also preparing a gacha zone and hands-on experience spaces,
so overall, it feels like there’ll be a lot to check out.

It feels like they went way bigger with the scale than I expected, so I really want to go experience it for myself as soon as it opens ㅎㅎ

Nexon held a drone show before too,

and I really love seeing them keep trying to bring the happiness of the game into offline spaces too!

I really didn’t expect this Lotte World collab to be prepared on such a huge scale! From a Maple player’s point of view, it’s honestly so touching.

Maple Island is aiming to open on April 3!

I’m planning to visit sometime in April too. I feel like the vibe will be totally different once I see it in person.
