Why the Swordsman became my favorite class in Mabinogi Mobile—and why I completely fell for it!
재파민
Hello, I’m
Jaepamin, a fellow Nexon game lover!
Mabinogi Mobile is my main game, and ever since I chose the Swordsman class as my main, I haven’t switched even once.
I think the reason I’ve been able to stay so loyal is the charm Swordsman has. So here’s a quick look at what makes it so appealing, and how strong it really is!
Skill Motions
The reason I started playing Swordsman is super simple. The second I saw the Ilseom skill, I picked it without a moment’s hesitation. That stylish straight-line ultimate, which reminded me of Byeokryeok Ilseom, completely stole my heart.
Some people might say, “Wasn’t it just because Swordsman was totally busted?” But when I first started raising my Swordsman, it was only rated around tier 3 or 4.
In other words, I didn’t pick Swordsman because of its power(?)—I picked it for its looks. 우하하
Counter Skill
Swordsman’s core skill, Ganpa, can counter an enemy’s deadly attack. Because of that, it helps make up for the “squishiness” that’s usually the downside of DPS classes.
On top of that, while Ganpa is active, the damage you take drops sharply, and if you land the counter successfully, it hits for absolutely ridiculous damage. In short, it’s an all-purpose class that can handle offense and defense at the same time.
Flexible Accessory Runes
More than anything, most accessories are viable picks. You can run all kinds of combinations like Gwanmumeng, Gwanmunak, Gwanpyeongil, and Gwanmuil. Since you can just choose whatever suits your taste, it gives you a lot of freedom.
For Swordsman, Gwanpyeongil has the highest ceiling, but I personally use the more standard and comfortable Gwanmumeng.
That’s it for why I fell for Swordsman, my favorite class in Mabinogi Mobile. Since it’s stayed a tier 1 class for such a long time, I think Swordsman is a great choice if you’re not sure what to raise.
