[MapleStory] 5 nostalgic pieces of content I’d love to #freeze-dry and keep forever!

Hello,

I’m Jaymer, a Nexon Picker.

When you play MapleStory,

there are always a few limited-time things that disappearing feels way too sad,

and a few pieces of content that have slipped fully into memory, never to be seen again.

So I put together

five pieces of MapleStory content I’d personally love to freeze-dry and keep forever!

1. Special Worlds

The first thing that came to mind was the limited-time event worlds

where you could try out special jobs you normally never get to play.

From Pink Bean and Yeti World

to collab characters like Demon Slayer - Tanjiro and One-Punch Man - Saitama, they all came rushing back to me!

Since they were exclusive to their own worlds, they really stood out with unique skills and super-fast growth.

Getting to actually play Pink Bean and Yeti, who we’d always only seen as monsters, felt refreshingly different,

and roaming the Maple World as an anime protagonist was a genuinely special experience too.

It always felt like such a shame that the characters vanished once the event ended,

so more than anything, I wished they could stay as permanent content!

2. Ursus the Mighty

Ursus is probably something a lot of players still miss.

The tension of teaming up with a crowd to bring down that massive Ursus still feels vivid to me even now.

More than anything, I could skip my dailies, but I never skipped Ursus. It was one of the main meso-making contents, after all!

It’s vanished into history now,

but the old Ursus days, when you’d gather with other players in a packed map and claim your rewards,

really make me wish I could freeze-dry that whole moment and bring it back.

3. Spiegelmann's Strawberry Farm

When it comes to leveling alts, nothing beats this: Spiegelmann's Strawberry Farm.

It’s a place where you can hunt monsters within a limited time and walk away with a huge amount of EXP.

You can access it fairly often,

but since it’s still not something you can enjoy whenever you want, it always leaves me wanting more!

Whenever I need to build link characters or work on my Legion,

this is the kind of content I wish I could keep preserved and pull out anytime.

4. God of Control

I’ve loved content like Forest of Patience ever since I was a kid.

Maybe that’s why I still want to try God of Control even now!

It’s the kind of content where everything comes down purely to the player’s finger control.

Sadly, I never got to play God of Control myself, and I think that’s exactly why it still sticks with me so much.

If it ever settled in as permanent content, I feel like it’d be incredibly fun to chip away at it little by little every day and slowly conquer it ㅎㅎ

5. Ariant Battle Arena

Last up is Ariant Battle Arena, a nostalgic bit of content that old-school players will probably remember.

You hunted monsters to collect jewels,

and had to plan out ways to steal your opponent’s jewels.

I’m a little embarrassed to admit it, but when I was younger, I got into plenty of fights with other players here.

And in the end, I even remember getting the Palm Tree Beach Chair…

By the way, I thought Ariant Battle Arena was gone... but apparently it still exists even now?!

I only found that out while writing this..

I heard you can play it as Party Quest content now, but it was still a little disappointing to hear it’s no longer PVP.

So that was my roundup of five MapleStory contents filled with nostalgia.

Now that some time has passed, they somehow feel even more precious.

the one thing you’d want to keep in your heart forever? Share your precious memories with me in the comments.
