When you play MapleStory,

there's always limited-time content you're sorry to see go,

along with content that now lives only in your memories, never to return.

With that in mind, I've put together my personal picks to revisit anytime:

five pieces of MapleStory content I'd love to freeze-dry!

1. Special Worlds

My first thought was getting to try special classes you can't normally play

in limited-time event worlds.

The Pink Bean and Yeti worlds spring to mind,

along with the crossover appearances of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba's Tanjiro and One-Punch Man's Saitama!

Exclusive to their dedicated worlds, these classes offered unique skills and speedy leveling.

Playing as Pink Bean and Yeti, whom we'd only ever encountered as monsters, was a refreshing change,

and exploring Maple World as an anime protagonist felt truly special, too.

Seeing those characters disappear at the end of each event was such a shame

that I really wished they could stay as permanent content!

2. Ursus the Mighty

I suspect plenty of players miss Ursus.

I can still vividly remember the tension of teaming up with other players to take down the enormous Ursus.

Even when I missed my dailies, I never missed Ursus. It was a key source of mesos!

Ursus may now be a thing of the past, but

those days of gathering on a bustling map with other players to collect our rewards

are exactly what I'd love to freeze-dry and bring back!

3. 슈피겔라's Strawberry Farm

Nothing beats this for leveling alts! I'm talking about 슈피겔라's Strawberry Farm.

You hunt monsters against the clock and earn an enormous amount of EXP.

This one comes around relatively often,

but I always wish it were available whenever I wanted to play!

Whenever I need to level characters for Link Skills or Legion,

I'd love to have this content preserved and ready to go.

4. God of Control

I've loved content like the Forest of Patience since I was a child.

Maybe that's why I still want to give God of Control a try!

Success here comes down entirely to your skill at the controls.

Unfortunately, I never got to play God of Control myself, which makes me regret missing out all the more.

If it became permanent content, I think tackling it a little each day and gradually mastering it would be really rewarding ㅎㅎ

5. Ariant Coliseum

Last on my list is Ariant Coliseum, a nostalgic favorite that longtime players will remember.

You hunted monsters to collect jewels

and planned your strategy for stealing your opponents' jewels.

I'm a little embarrassed to admit how often I argued with other players here as a child.

I remember eventually getting the Palm Tree Beach Chair, too…

Speaking of which, I thought Ariant Coliseum was gone... but apparently it's still around?!

I only found out while writing this...

Apparently, it's available as a Party Quest, though I was disappointed to learn it's no longer PVP.

That wraps up my five picks for MapleStory content full of memories.

Those memories only seem to grow more precious with time.
