Not long ago, a mother’s post about her daughter’s startling declaration, “I want to freeze-dry Mom,” drew plenty of attention.

It was her daughter’s sweet way of saying she wanted to keep her mom from growing old so they could live together forever. Without that context, though, the idea of freeze-drying her could easily be misunderstood—a funny yet slightly bittersweet mix-up.

There are also in-game events you might want to freeze-dry—the kind you wish would stick around forever.

As it happens, the ongoing 4th anniversary events in Dungeon & Fighter Mobile are a great example. Let’s take a look at the rewards you can currently claim. With near-best-in-slot auras, titles, and creatures, along with best-in-slot gear up for grabs, this is a great opportunity for new and returning players.

4th Anniversary Pre-Registration Rewards

Pre-register for Dungeon & Fighter Mobile’s 4th anniversary to receive 30 days of Master Contract and 네리아/리카 skill cut-ins.

Notably, 30 days of Master Contract is worth around 30만 Terra at auction house prices, making it a substantial reward. The contract also makes a real difference in play, with benefits such as access to 4 potion slots and increased damage, so be sure to claim it.

4th Anniversary Broadcast Rewards

Log in before April 23 at 6 AM and open the Events menu to find the 4th ANNIVERSARY DM tab. Head there to claim a gift box.

The box contains a title, an aura, a creature, a ticket granting 1 additional equipment transcendence, 30 Transcendence Stone Particles, an Advancement Change Ticket, a Knights of the Round Table Avatar Box, a Master Kaleido Box, and a Title Bead (+4).

Here’s a quick rundown of how to put those rewards to use: apply the bead to the title right away, and use the Master Kaleido Box on your weapon.

The additional transcendence ticket is best saved for putting together a 5-piece set of Light-Imbued Epic equipment, but if that isn’t within reach, you can use it on Epic equipment first.

The title, aura, and creature are all near-best-in-slot, so you can comfortably tackle all content without spending money. This setup will even get you into the upcoming Sirocco Raid. Of course, you’ll still need to work on basic reinforcement and other character progression, but separate support for those should also be available.

Next Highway, which provides that support, is running until March 26, so players starting now stand to benefit quite a bit. You should be able to build up one character before the update and another afterward.

4th Anniversary Update Events

The names of the 4th anniversary events have been revealed, but the specific rewards have yet to be confirmed. Based on past anniversary events, though, they will likely help players quickly assemble a full set of this season’s Epic equipment.

Players are also set to receive 2 random Exceed equipment pots and a weapon selection box, as explicitly promised during the broadcast.

Exceed equipment and weapons are currently best-in-slot and will only move down to near-best-in-slot once the Sirocco Raid arrives, so they are more than enough to get you raid-ready.

Mystery Sweet Candy Bar

Today’s farming is looking pretty sweet

Beyond Next Highway, the Mystery Sweet Candy Bar event also offers plenty of value. The earlier DNF Farm event used a similar format and is considered the most rewarding event in Dungeon & Fighter Mobile’s history, and this Candy Bar event carries on that tradition.

Here’s how it works: plant a random candy in each of three plots, then use Mystery Sweet Syrup earned from dungeon runs to replant any results you’re not happy with.

What’s inside Assorted Candy? Literally everything.

Repeat this process and keep trying until you get Star Candy or Assorted Candy to collect the most valuable reward: Catalyst Fragments. If you’ve already received a +15 weapon through Next Highway, those Catalyst Fragments will come in handy when you attempt +16 later.

A Creature Available for Just 2 Weeks

New players might really wish they could freeze-dry this one: Extreme difficulty for the Hollow of Annihilation, available only until March 26 at 6 AM.

This tougher version of the existing Elite Dungeon ramps up the challenge with changes such as removing ground-attack warning markers, and clearing it rewards you with the Four Divine Beasts: Vermilion Bird creature.

It doesn’t come with any special stats, but its size and flashy appearance make it well worth collecting. Every character that clears the dungeon can earn one, too, so I’ll likely be busy running it for a while myself.
