Like finding a snack so good you wish you could freeze-dry it for later, DNF Mobile’s 4th Anniversary event is the kind of thing you almost want to preserve forever.

Not long ago, a mother’s post about being startled when her daughter said, “I want to freeze-dry Mom” made the rounds online.

It was really just a cute way of saying she wanted to freeze-dry her mom so she’d never grow old and they could stay together forever. Still, to anyone hearing that with zero context, it was the sort of funny-but-slightly-sad misunderstanding that could easily go sideways.

There are game events you kind of want to freeze-dry too—the ones so good you wish they would never end.

And DNF Mobile’s ongoing 4th anniversary event is a perfect example. So let’s break down what rewards you can get right now. Since it hands out near-endgame title/aura/creature options and even endgame-tier gear, this is an especially good window for new and returning players.

4th Anniversary Pre-Registration Rewards

If you join the DNF Mobile 4th anniversary pre-registration, you can get 30 days of Master Contract and the Neria/Rika skill cutscene.

Most notably, 30 days of Master Contract is worth about 300,000 Tera based on Auction Hall prices, so the value here is substantial. The gap between having it and not having it is also pretty large (4 potion slots, damage gains, and more), so this is one reward you definitely want to grab.

4th Anniversary Broadcast Rewards

If you log into the game and open the event tab before 6:00 AM on April 23, you’ll see a 4th ANNIVERSARY DM tab. That’s where you can claim the gift box.

The box includes a title, aura, creature, 1 extra equipment transfer count ticket, 30 Transcendence Stone Particles, a class change ticket, a Knights of the Round Table avatar box, Makalbak, and a title bead (+4).

As for how to use them, the short version is this: put the bead on the title right away, and use the Makalbak on your weapon.

The extra transfer count ticket is best saved until you’re putting together a 5-piece set of Light-Infused Epic gear, though if that isn’t realistic for you yet, using it on Epic gear first is still fine.

The title, aura, and creature are all near-endgame level, which means you can comfortably enjoy all content even without spending. This setup should even be enough to enter the upcoming Sirocco Raid. Of course, you’ll still want to work on your base enhancements and overall progression, but there will likely be separate support for that as well.

And since the Next Highway event that supports this progression is running until March 26, anyone starting now stands to gain a lot. In practice, you can raise one character before the update and another after it.

4th Anniversary Update Event

The name of the 4th anniversary event has been revealed, but the exact rewards still haven’t been confirmed. That said, based on the pattern of past anniversary events, there’s a high chance it will be structured to help players quickly complete a full set of this season’s Epic gear.

On top of that, 2 Exceed Random Equipment Pots and a Weapon Selection Box directly promised during the broadcast are also set to be distributed.

Exceed gear and weapons are currently endgame-tier items, and they would only drop to near-endgame once Sirocco Raid arrives, so they are easily strong enough for raid entry.

Mysteriously Sweet Candy Bar

Today’s farming tastes especially good

Alongside the Next Highway mentioned earlier, the Mysteriously Sweet Candy Bar event is also packed with value. A past DUNFARM event that used a similar format is often remembered as the best honey event in the history of Dungeon & Fighter Mobile, and this Candy Bar event very much feels like the next entry in that line.

The structure is simple: you can plant random candies in each of three plots, and if you don’t like the result, you can spend Mysteriously Sweet Syrup earned from dungeon farming to replant.

Assorted candy contents—literally, it has everything.

From there, you simply keep trying until you get Star Candy or Assorted Candy. The biggest prize in the pool is Catalyst Fragments. If you already picked up a +15 weapon through Next Highway, those Catalyst Fragments should be especially useful later when you make the jump to +16.

2-Week Limited Creature

This may be the event that makes newer players think, “Can we freeze-dry this one too?” It’s the Extreme difficulty for Joint Extermination, available only until 6:00 AM on March 26.

It’s a tougher version of the existing elite dungeon, released with added difficulty such as the removal of warning marks (ground indicators), and the clear reward is the Vermilion Bird of the Four Guardian Beasts creature.

Its stats aren’t any different, but the appearance is large and flashy, which gives it strong collector value. Better yet, you get one for each character that clears it, so I’ll probably be running this quite a bit myself for a while.

Wrapping Up

Here’s the update roadmap.

That wraps up this overview of DNF Mobile’s 4th anniversary pre-registration and event rewards. As someone with 1452 consecutive login days, I can confidently say this is one of the best times ever to jump in—even if you start right now.
