Not too long ago, Azur Promilia released its first character PV.

Up to this point, the character reveals on the official channel had mostly been limited to short cutscene clips, so getting a fully polished PV like this feels especially welcome.

​

And the very first featured star is Kashibel. So let’s break down her appeal one point at a time—full “fandom orientation session” style.

Origin and Background

Kashibel is a beastfolk maid from FLEECE CITY, also known as Plis Castle Ward.

Other beastfolk characters include Terara, Ruruka, Parida, and Miti.

Despite being a maid, her character setting says she isn’t actually very good at housework—and she’s even worse at cooking.

Even so, she’s kindhearted and quick to help anyone in trouble, with one fun gap-moe twist built into her profile: she’s extremely talented when it comes to anything that involves raw strength.

Visual Highlights

Kashibel has quite a few visual features that stand out right away.

First up, her cow horns, ears, and tail instantly grab your attention. If skins ever happen, it really does feel like a Holstein bikini is only a matter of time.

Her firmly closed lips pair nicely with that cool, proud-sounding voice, and the beauty mark under her left eye is another memorable touch.

Her bangs cover her right eye, though the PV briefly shows it during a moment where she trips and falls.

That said, it doesn’t seem like the eye has a different color or any kind of scar.

She’s also wearing restraining cuffs with chains attached at the wrists.

It’s the kind of detail that makes you wonder whether she was once enslaved and later freed. Her character introduction text says, “The chains merely symbolize the past and have nothing to do with the present.”

She also has a ribbon with a keyhole-shaped lock detail in the center of her outfit, and with exposed underarms, sideboob, and see-through-style modeling layered in, the overall look gives off a pretty alluring vibe.

That said, once you watch how she actually acts, she comes across less as seductive and more as a natural airhead—or an adorably offbeat girl from another dimension, basically.

Combat Style

Kashibel is an ice-element character who fights with a massive axe.

She seems to have that Rem-from-Re:Zero kind of energy: a cute, gentle maid who turns aggressive once battle starts.

​

Her combat role has not been revealed yet.

So When’s the Release Date?

Azur Promilia began pre-registration on December 15, 2025.

​

And now that Kashibel’s PV is out too—with her looking like a very strong candidate for the first pickup character—it really feels like the release date is steadily getting closer.

In particular, Azur Promilia drew attention by appearing at Comic World on March 14. Just looking at the size of the booth, you can tell they’re preparing this one on a big scale.

The characters are appealing, of course, but even the Kibo (basically pet-like companions) are charming, so personally, this is one of the subculture games I’m looking forward to most this year. If more news drops, I’ll come back with another roundup.
