What class do you main, everyone? Mine is Demon Avenger!

I switched classes plenty of times while playing MapleStory, but now I’ve fully settled on Demon Avenger.

Today, I’d like to dive into the charms of Demon Avenger, the class I’m raising with lots of love.

1. Overwhelming Presence

The very first thing you notice about Demon Avenger is that dark, striking style.

In particular, as a symbol of the demon race, the stylish Force Wing really stands out when you skip a cape cosmetic.

It’s one of the Demon race’s defining traits as well :)

It also features skill effects built around a red-and-black color scheme, so they feel flashy while still carrying real weight.

If you enjoy dark, intense concepts, this is a class I can absolutely recommend!

2. The Story of the Demon Race

Even within MapleStory, the Demon class line has

one of the most tragic and deeply layered stories around. It really feels different from the other classes.

In fact, he was once the Black Mage’s most trusted Commander,

but for certain reasons, he turns his back on the legion and walks the path of revenge.

But after carrying out countless acts of murder and destruction as a Commander,

he ends up paying the full price for those sins.

If you really dig into it, you may find yourself completely absorbed in the Demon storyline!

In particular, after losing everything and being left with nothing,

the way he tries to stand back up in Edelstein with nothing but revenge in his heart moved a great many players.

3. Demon Avenger’s Combat Style

Demon Avenger has plenty of traits that set it apart from other classes.

Among all classes, it is the only one that uses HP as its main stat.

On top of that, it dishes out explosive damage while consuming its own HP.

In particular, the 'Demon Frenzy' skill is Demon Avenger’s core on/off buff.

If you’re still new to Demon Avenger, you may end up dying often even while training,

but once I got used to it, I honestly felt there was no class more comfortable!

Not only are potion costs practically nonexistent, but Demon Jump also lets you glide slowly, which is very useful in boss fights.

And with Shield Chasing, low-fatigue grinding is possible too!
