March brings both excitement and stress. Starting a new semester and meeting new people can be enjoyable, but it can also feel a little overwhelming and hectic.

At times like these, a quick gaming session can be a good way to ease the stress of returning to classes.

Rather than games that require a long-term commitment, I’d like to recommend games and events you can immerse yourself in when you have a little time to spare.

Azur Promilia at Comic World 330 Ilsan

Azur Promilia, the new title from Azur Lane developer Manjuu, will be the main sponsor of Comic World 330 at KINTEX in Ilsan on March 14–15.

Activities at the venue will include a live drawing demonstration and autograph session with popular illustrator 레바, a minigame zone, and distinctive hands-on activities such as a drawing wall and a peel-off wall.

Visitors who complete all the stamp rally missions can also enter a draw for special prizes, including an RTX 5080. If you enjoy anime and gaming culture or live near Ilsan, it’s worth a visit.

MapleStory in Lotte World

The “MapleStory in Lotte World” event will run at Lotte World Adventure in Jamsil from March 14 to June 14.

Alongside photo zones inspired by the MapleStory universe, character customization activities, and nighttime castle projection mapping, visitors can look forward to exclusive collaboration merchandise, food, and drinks, including Red/Blue Potion drinks and Slime cream mochi.

A permanent themed zone called “Maple Island,” covering approximately 600 pyeong in Lotte World’s outdoor area, is also scheduled to officially open in April. That should be welcome news for anyone who grew up playing MapleStory.

Sudden Attack’s New Survival Battlefield, 시범단지

A game that has lasted this long must be resilient—or, more to the point, fun to play.

Why not revisit Sudden Attack for some shooting action?

Sudden Attack is adding “시범단지,” a new Survival battlefield, alongside several limited-time reward events, including a Survival Coin collection event and the second ice-breaking event for Combo Pass Season 1.

A new character featuring actress Lee Joo-bin has also been revealed. You can unlock a permanent version by accumulating Multi Counts, making it a manageable reward to work toward. A prize draw for physical autographed merchandise is also underway, giving Lee Joo-bin fans another reason to welcome this update.

ARC Raiders’ Fourth Update, Shrouded Sky

ARC Raiders’ fourth free update, “Shrouded Sky,” introduces the new Hurricane environmental condition, which limits movement, visibility, and sound all at once, along with 2 new ARC types: Firefly and Comet.

The update also includes the seasonal Weather Monitor System project, a map expansion, and a free outfit. Players can earn additional permanent skill points and stash space through the second Expedition Project as well.

It’s worth experiencing the new Hurricane environmental condition firsthand to see just how much it can change your survival strategy.

NAKWON: LAST PARADISE Global Alpha Test

Nexon’s upcoming zombie survival game, NAKWON: LAST PARADISE, will hold a global closed alpha test on Steam from March 12 to 16.

Set in the ruins of Seoul, it features more than 60 types of melee weapons, 6 types of special infected, varied environmental conditions including day, night, and heavy rain, and a skill tree system—a promising combination for zombie survival fans.

Players in East Asia, including Korea, as well as North America and parts of South America can participate by pre-registering on Steam. If you’re interested, be sure to sign up soon.

Wrapping Up

Be sure to check out DNF Mobile’s 4th anniversary, too...

That wraps up this roundup of 5 games and events to help you unwind in March.

Some of these picks, like Comic World and the Lotte World event, mean heading out in person, while others, like the NAKWON alpha test, only require Steam to get started. Choose whichever works best for you. The NAKWON alpha test only runs until the 16th, so there isn’t much time left—be sure to sign up soon if you’re interested. Here’s to getting through the month together.
