Are you enjoying a fun and cozy life in Erinn?

Before we knew it, chilly winter has started to slowly fade away,

and you can already feel a hint of spring in the air~

So to match the season, I want to give My Home a little spring makeover too!

Let’s take a moment together and chat about what kind of vibe would look nice🌼

First, let me show you the entryway where you see the front door

By the entrance, I placed a table at a nice height,

and set paper, a quill, and an ink set on top

I decorated it while hoping we’ll get a guestbook feature someday~

So the concept is: this is the little spot where visitors leave their mark!😉

As soon as you step in from the entrance, the living room comes right into view

It flows through with brown wooden floors and reddish-brown brick walls

If you match the furniture to the floor and walls too closely, the space can start to feel a bit heavy,

so I added some mint-colored (teal) and white pieces that I personally love

Here’s a quick little~ furniture color-combo tip!

Pick one main color you want, and use it for your accent furniture

Then finish the rest with white or light brown, which go well with almost anything!

That way, you can create a space that feels harmonious without looking boring👍

And if I can add one more tip for dividing a space,

walls work nicely, but using partitions or other large furniture in the right spots is great too

It keeps things from feeling too boxed in, while making the home look more spacious too~

On the left side of the living room, there’s the kitchen

I wanted to use wallpaper here that felt a little brighter and more cheerful,

but I couldn’t find one that really suited a cooking space

It would be so nice if bright tile walls or wallpaper with a kitchen-friendly feel got added someday!

Adventurer, what wallpaper would you recommend for this space?

Since the wallpaper felt a little lacking,

I went with all bright-colored furniture instead

A table dressed with a tangerine-colored tablecloth,

and of course, mint-colored kitchen furniture—another favorite of mine!

I tried to offset the dullness of the wallpaper with bright furniture,

so the space could feel as light and cheerful as possible

Especially that dish cabinet over there—it’s a new piece I bought this time,

and I love how it covers a lot of the wall while also making the room feel nicely full

Lastly, let me show you the bedroom~

Compared to the living room and kitchen, it’s much brighter and more cheerful,

so it’s a space that suits spring especially well!

A light brown frame,

paired with a bed dressed in yellow floral sheets for that fresh, lively feeling💛

It’s truly a resting space filled with the sunny brightness of spring

I placed botanical print frames and wall-hanging planters on the wall,

and added shelves on the wall beside them too

so it wouldn’t feel too empty

Across from the bed, I placed a desk and a bookshelf

A bookshelf packed full of books,

and books and documents scattered all over the floor…

I styled it to give off a book-lover kind of image—what do you think?😊

If a brighter-colored bookshelf comes out later, I’m planning to swap it in,

and then add a cheerful rug under the desk to match

Right in front of the room’s door, I arranged a wardrobe and a mirror like this

The wardrobe uses white and light brown,

plus the same mint color used on the bed, so it helps the whole space feel brighter

Mm, I’m hoping we get a bookshelf and desk in this color combo too

It would look so nice and feel really cohesive if we could fill a whole room with matching furniture sets~
