I’ve done a lot of spec-up lately and finally hit 200 million combat power, but

with this level of combat power, trying to push Black Mage lower solos + Normal Seren just didn’t feel right at all, so

I decided to go back and practice bosses for the first time in a while.

At first I was gonna start with my 7,000th target, Easy Kalos, but

people kept saying Easy Adversary’s patterns are easier than Easy Kalos, so

since my hands are absolutely trash, I decided to try Easy Adversary first!

I checked the achievement clear rate and it was better than I expected.

Still, my comfy solo-cut is 414%, so I should clear pretty quickly, right..?ㅎㅎ

When I study, online lectures help way more than trying to figure everything out alone, and

games are basically the same, so before challenging Easy Adversary

I went in after binging a bunch of Easy Adversary guide videos from different YouTubers,

and this was the one that helped me the most!

The parry timing explanation was seriously so good.

Honestly, from the videos it looked easier and simpler than Easy Kalos’s patterns, so I thought I’d clear it fast, but

that absolutely did not happen, and for a while I was just hard stuck in Phase 1 흑흑..

I really felt like with bosses, practice is the only way forward, so I kept grinding and then

I got a lot better at the parry patterns, and

I cleared Phase 1 too!!!!

I barely even had time to enjoy it before Phase 2 started, and

the chaotic patterns completely scrambled my brain and I got dekad out almost immediatelyㅋㅋㅠ

From the videos, Phase 2 looked like the easiest part, so I thought I’d clear it quickly, but wow, one wall after another..

I went back to the guide videos again, memorized the patterns, and practiced more.

After enough practice, Phase 2 really was easier than Phase 1.

So I cleared it faster than Phase 1ㅎㅎ

Finally made it to Phase 3!!!

In Phase 3, you can only parry the elemental attacks that show up above your character, and the rainbow attacks can be parried regardless of element.

There are a lot of parry patterns similar to Phase 1, but maybe the timing was different from what I expected..?

I got just as lost in Phase 3 as I did in Phase 1.

Even after practicing enough to get somewhat used to the parry patterns,

I kept getting death-counted out and it seriously felt like I was losing it..

Honestly I wanted to give up so badly, but this was the only thing I could do for the keyword mission, so

I just dragged myself through it and kept practicing.

Because I need the Nexon Cash from the keyword mission reward to dress up my character..

There is genuinely no stronger motivation for me than that.

Whoa, first time ever seeing full gauge in Phase 3.

And Adversary’s HP was already pretty low too, so

I was thinking this run actually looked pretty good, and yep, my gut was right!

Finally cleared Easy Adversary practice mode!!!!

Seriously, if you keep at it and stick it out to the end, there’s nothing you can’t do.

Let’s ride this momentum straight into the real run~

I got scammed and died in Phase 1, the phase I practiced the most, and my mental was already starting to crackㅠ..

I need to bring at least 800 Will of the Adversary into Phase 3, 흑흑..

Thankfully I made it through Phase 2 without any mistakes, so

I brought 800 Will of the Adversary into Phase 3.

This is where the real fight starts.. let’s go.

No but I swear I hit it on time

and every time my Will of the Adversary dropped, it felt like my heart was getting torn apart..

Phew... but still, I worked hard and made it this far.

At this point I felt like I could definitely clear, so I relaxed a little, but then

the second I let my guard down, I failed all the parry patterns and my Will of the Adversary got shredded..

At that point the only thing on my mind was that I had to kill Adversary before I got dekad out again, but

when is burst back up;;

I ACTUALLY DID IT!!!!!!!!

Seeing the achievement pop up after killing a boss always feels amazing no matter how many times I see itㅎㅎㅎ

Easy Adversary, you actually suck.

Using this meme every time I kill a boss I had to grind practice for is way too funnyㅋㅋ

I want to be doing this too, but Special Label prices are way too insane these days, so

the sad reality is I have to kill this guy every week..ㅠ

I want to get used to the patterns fast and start clearing Easy Adversary this comfortably tooㅎㅎㅎ

And for anyone like me with trash hands who's trying Easy Adversary, here are a few tips:

● Don’t get too hung up on landing every parry pattern

Unless you’re doing the absolute minimum clear based on converted main stat boss ratio,

failing a few parry patterns doesn’t mean you can’t clear Easy Adversary, so if the timing feels iffy, I recommend just running away instead of forcing the parry.

You can just get the next pattern.

● Use Decent Holy Fountain whenever it comes off cooldown

This skill saves me from dying way more often than you’d think, and

especially during the arrow-rain pattern in Phase 3,

your odds of surviving are actually better if you heal with Holy Fountain instead of trying to dodge the arrows, so give that a try.

● For Link Skills, prioritize survival over damage

Since you’re still not used to the boss patterns yet, fill your Link Skills with survival-focused ones.

Later on, once you’re used to the patterns, you can swap them out for damage skills.

If you keep at it and stick with it till the end, there’s nothing you can’t do, so

if you’ve got trash hands like me, practice hard and go for the 1.45% achievement for your first solo clear of Easy Adversary too😊
