게임하늘
Hello, this is Game Sky.
Today, we’ll continue with the MapleLand Lower Town questline. This time, we’re covering the quest Kongji’s Grain Tea. There’s also an event quest that gives an EXP coupon to celebrate the new school term, so let’s check that out first before moving on to the main quest.
With that, let’s get started.

New School Term Commemorative EXP Coupon Event |

You can start the event by talking to the Maple Mailbox or the Maple Administrator.
The Maple Administrator says they prepared a small gift for the new school term in March: a 2x EXP Coupon.
The 2x EXP Coupon is only available until March 8. In other words, once tomorrow passes, it’ll be gone, so make sure to use it quickly.

Kongji |

Kongji greets you warmly and says it’s been a while. This time, though, you’re the one asking for a favor—you ask whether you can get some grain tea.
She says she has some left over from what she was selling. According to her, the grain tea her stepmother makes tastes excellent. Of course, it’s not free, so she asks you to bring something her stepmother likes.
Her stepmother likes soft, fluffy fox tail fur, so she wants the warm tail of a Samiho. Kongji says that if you bring 3 Samiho Tails and 1,000 mesos, her stepmother won’t be upset if she trades you the grain tea.

Hunting Samihos |

To get Samiho Tails, you’ll need to head to a hunting map where Samihos appear. I first went to the Kkamaksan Valley hunting ground I mentioned earlier. Since you only need 3 tails, you can hunt here, collect them, and move on. Personally, because it’s the closest hunting ground, I think it’s a good option for this quest.
I’d recommend Fox Ridge if you really need EXP and plan to stay and hunt for a while. However, as I mentioned in the previous quest, Samihos have an EXP debuff, so I don’t personally recommend them as a hunting target. I also wouldn’t suggest using your EXP coupon there.

When you return to Kongji, she’s surprised that you actually brought everything back. She says her stepmother will probably be pleased when she sees the tails. In any case, you receive 5 Grain Teas.
Lastly, Kongji says that if you need more grain tea later, you can come back anytime. She can only make it once a day, which means you can do the quest again tomorrow.
Grain Tea is a consumable item. It restores 400 HP and 400 MP. Considering that a Blue Potion only restores about 100 MP, it’s a pretty efficient item.

Today, we looked at the MapleLand Kongji’s Grain Tea quest. If you’re in Lower Town and need consumable items, I think doing this quest once a day is a pretty solid option.
