Hello. Today, I’ll walk you through the Broken Tree Hoe quest in Korean Folk Town in MapleLand.

Hello, this is Game Sky.
I hope you all had a nice March 1st holiday and were able to claim your event rewards without any trouble. The holiday lasts from the 1st to the 2nd, but with the new school term coming up early for students, it may not feel all that relaxing. Even so, I hope you enjoy the rest of the break while getting ready for school. With that said, today’s quest is another one from Kongji: Broken Wooden Hoe.
Now then, let’s begin.

Kongji |
|---|
Today, Kongji was in tears. Her stepmother had told her to plow the entire field, but her wooden hoe was so worn out that it snapped. She says she is crying because, at this rate, she will not be able to finish the work her stepmother assigned and will surely be scolded harshly. Since the player has helped her every time before, she asks for help once again.
If you press Accept, she explains that she already checked the village blacksmith, but they do not make iron hoes. According to local rumors, some of the goblins living on Kkamak Mountain sometimes carry them. However, the goblins are so violent that someone as weak as her cannot even get close. Since the player looks strong, she asks you to bring back just 1 Iron Hoe from them. Kongji is definitely a pitiful character, but it does feel a little like she keeps making the player do all the work..

Goblin Hunting Ground |
|---|
The goblin hunting ground is located at Goblin Ridge. Once you arrive, it may not be obvious which monsters count as goblins. Both the will-o’-the-wisp and the horned monster are goblins. They may be small, but they are level 60 monsters, so do not underestimate them. You will likely want to be somewhere around level 50 to 70 before taking them on.
At first, the goblins appear as will-o’-the-wisps, but after you defeat them once, they transform into the horned monster with the white box. Defeat them again in that form, and they are effectively down for good. Their moveset consists of a falling-rock attack and a defense buff skill. In any case, just defeat them and collect the Iron Hoe. Thankfully, the drop rate is not particularly low, so it is fairly easy to obtain. Because of that, we can head back to Lith Harbor fairly quickly.

Reward |
|---|
When you return to Kongji with the Iron Hoe, she is genuinely surprised. She says goblins are difficult to deal with because their pranks are so nasty, so she is amazed that you managed to bring one back for her. Since this is the third time you have helped her, she says she will never forget your kindness. The reward is The Kongji and Patzzi Storybook and 17,000 EXP. The storybook seems like an item that is probably closely connected to Librarian Wiz.

Wrapping Up |
|---|
Today, we went over Broken Wooden Hoe. It is a little disappointing that the reward is only a storybook, but I am hoping that Librarian Wiz, who can probably exchange that storybook, will offer something better. For now, I think I will keep collecting these storybooks.
That’s all from Game Sky. Thank you!
