Still, I hope you make the most of the remaining break while getting ready to return to school. Now, let's turn to another of Kong Ji's quests: Broken Wooden Hoe.

Kong Ji

Today, I found Kong Ji crying. Her stepmother had told her to till the entire field, but her wooden hoe was so old that it broke. She is upset because she knows she will not be able to finish the work at this rate, and her stepmother is sure to scold her severely. Since you have always helped her before, she asks you to help just this once more.

When you click Accept, she explains that she has already visited the village smithy, but they do not make iron hoes. She has heard rumors, though, that some of the Blins on Black Mountain carry them. The Blins are too aggressive for someone as weak as her to approach, but she thinks you look strong enough. She asks you to bring her just 1 Iron Hoe from the Blins. It is hard not to feel sorry for Kong Ji, though it does seem as if she is making you do all the work..

Blin Hunting Ground

The Blin hunting ground is located on Goblin Ridge. When you arrive, it may not be obvious which monsters are Blins. Both the ghostly flames and the horned monsters are Blins. They may be small, but they are level 60 monsters, so do not underestimate them. You will probably need to be around level 50~70 to defeat them.

Blins first appear as ghostly flames. Defeat them once, and they turn into white, box-shaped monsters with horns. Defeat that form to finish them off. Their only abilities are a rock-dropping attack and a defense buff skill. Keep defeating them until you obtain an Iron Hoe. Fortunately, the drop rate is not particularly low, so getting one should be fairly easy. I was able to return to Korean Folk Town quickly as a result.

Rewards

When you return to Kong Ji with the Iron Hoe, she is amazed that you managed to get it despite the Blins' nasty tricks, which make them difficult to deal with. This is the third time you have helped her, and she says she will never forget your kindness. Your rewards are the Kong Ji and Pat Ji storybook and 17,000 EXP. The storybook seems to have a close connection to Wiz the Librarian.

Wrapping Up

That covers Broken Wooden Hoe. It is a little disappointing that the storybook is the only item reward, but I have high hopes that Wiz the Librarian will offer something better in exchange. For now, I will keep collecting the storybooks.
