Today is Samiljeol, or March 1st Movement Day. It marks the events of March 1, 1919, during the Japanese colonial period, when independence activists and citizens across the country came out holding Taegeukgi flags and shouting for Korea’s independence. For Korea, it is a deeply meaningful and important day. Did you know MapleLand has an event for it as well? Today, I’ll be going over the Maple Administrator’s Surprise Quiz.

Maple Administrator

Before, you had to wait until March 1, but since that day is today, the quest is now available.

The Maple Administrator says they’ve prepared a simple quiz for players to commemorate Samiljeol. There’s also a gift waiting for players who answer it correctly. Press Yes to start the quiz. And don’t worry—it’s not anything tricky like an initial-consonant quiz.

The first question asks you to choose the correct explanation of Samiljeol. The first option refers to Armed Forces Day on October 1. The second is Hangeul Day on October 9. The third option, a commemorative day established to remember the spirit of independence of the March 1st Movement, is the correct answer. You probably knew that one without needing to look too closely, right? Just click the third option to move on. The fourth option is Children’s Day on May 5.

Next is the second question. This one asks what year the March 1st Movement took place. Just like the first, it’s very simple. Click the second option, 1919. This is also the final question, so the quiz ends here.

Reward Item Review

Once you finish the quiz, you’ll receive a gift commemorating the Samiljeol event. The rewards are 2 cookies and 4 double EXP coupons.

Before wrapping up, let’s take a quick look at the reward items. First is the cookie. It can be used until March 8, and it’s a consumable item that increases attack by 20 and magic attack by 30 for 30 minutes. Personally, 2 feels a little low, but since you still get a 30-minute buff, it’s not a bad reward overall.

Next is the event item everyone knows well: the double EXP coupon. It’s a consumable item that doubles the experience you gain while hunting for 15 minutes. Just like the cookie, it is available until March 8. Make sure to use all 4 coupons before they expire.
