Today, I’m back in Magatia once again. The reason is simple: around the first half of September, the Romeo and Juliet Party Quest was newly added through this update. So let’s take a look at Romeo and Juliet from the classic MapleStory days.

Romeo and Juliet Location

• Juliet

To start the Party Quest, you first need to know where Romeo and Juliet are. Let’s begin with Juliet’s location. In the Magatia Alcadno Society, there’s a door above Madd, right? Go ahead and enter there.



Once you go in, you can meet Juliet here. This Party Quest was added recently through an update, but it seems like there aren’t many people around. I may need to figure out later how to gather a party.

• Romeo

Next is Romeo. You can find Romeo by entering the passage in the upper-right area of the Magatia Zenumist Society. Head inside from there.

Then you’ll be able to meet Romeo here. There aren’t many people here either. I’m not really sure why. Maybe players still don’t know much about the recent update, or maybe they just aren’t very interested.

Listening to the Story

If you talk to him, he says Magatia is facing a major crisis. It sounds like he’s asking MapleStory adventurers for help. Anyway, let’s hear what he has to say.

Right from the start, Romeo introduces himself as Juliet’s boyfriend. He feels like the kind of NPC solo players would really hate. Anyway, he explains that he is from Zenumist while she is from Alcadno, so they’re supposedly fated not to be together.

In fact, the two sides were not enemies like this from the beginning. Romeo and Juliet want to act as a bridge to resolve the conflict and restore the relationship they once had.

He says Magatia is currently on the brink of war. He explains that this happened because the energy sources of both Zenumist and Alcadno were stolen. As a result, the conflict has only grown worse.



Romeo and Juliet’s goal is to find the third party behind all of this and stop his plot. He says the final objective is to stop the war in Magatia, reconcile Zenumist and Alcadno, and make his love with Juliet come true.

The conversation ends with him asking adventurers to help bring peace to Magatia.

Juliet’s story is very similar to Romeo’s. Personally, I expected their lines to be different, but aside from mentioning that they belong to different groups, there aren’t any major changes in the dialogue. If you’re curious, you can check it yourself later.

Wrapping Up

Today, we took a look at Romeo and Juliet. Personally, I’d like to clear this Party Quest, but unfortunately there are so few people doing it that it’s not really possible right now. The level requirement is 71 to 100. Even so, there just aren’t any players here.

Since it also doesn’t appear very clearly in the notification text, it seems to be something a lot of players still don’t know about. Of course, I’m still only level 70, so I can’t do it yet anyway, which is a bit disappointing.
