What if your favorite in-game character threw on a varsity jacket?
네오필
Have you ever stopped to imagine what game characters might look like if they appeared in real life?
Thanks to how far AI art has come lately, it’s now possible to actually bring that kind of idea to life—like NPCs from fantasy worlds strolling around campus in department jackets.
This time, I turned NPCs from some of Nexon’s best-known games into college students.
DNF

First up is the new guide NPC recently added to DNF Mobile.
Her name still hasn’t been revealed, but the prevailing guess is that she may be a new mascot character, something like Ella from PC DNF.
She definitely feels like a character whose visual design got a lot of extra care.

I really hope they reveal her name soon.
For the smaller version, I kept the original outfit design and leaned into a bright, cute vibe, while the taller version was meant to feel calmer and more mature.
As a side note, if there were a DNF university, what classes would it even have? Raid strategy feels like it would absolutely be a required general course.

I also made a campus version of Seria and Ella together. Maybe it’s the matching hair color, but they really do give off sister vibes—Seria as the mature, calm older sister, and Ella as the sturdy, cheerful younger one. It’s a pairing that fits surprisingly well.

Becky and the Female Mage had to be included too. Even with department jackets on, they read less like college students and more like they came along to campus with an older brother or sister. Then again, it would be pretty fun if the twist was that they were actually the professors.
Mabinogi Mobile

Nao and Molly, two of Mabinogi Mobile’s signature NPCs, made the list too.
I tried to preserve their original outfits as much as possible, while swapping Molly’s top for a department jacket. Seen this way, Molly actually comes across as more mature and smart than you might expect. Though if her character setting were that she panics and does something bizarre whenever a handsome guy talks to her, that would be pretty funny.

Next is Airiel, who was recently added as a raid boss and drew attention for a design that’s both pretty and cute.
Since her concept is wind and music, her appearance shifts a little depending on the skill pattern, so I made these as if each version were a twin sister with a different personality.
It has a similar feel to the Seria+Ella pairing, but here the idea of perfectly identical twins suits it even better.
Azur Promilia

I also made one for Cashibel, a character recently revealed in Azur Promilia, which is currently open for pre-registration.
She’s a character defined by a mature, alluring look, but in the setting she’s also incredibly strong and uses a giant axe as her main weapon.
I carried that idea over into the campus version and, for some reason, drew her walking around with a sack of rice. Maybe she hit a supermarket sale during a free period.
Blue Archive

Last up is Usuba Ritsu, a newly added character in Blue Archive.
If your first thought was, “Wait, this looks way too good. Is this really AI?” then yes—that’s the right answer.
This one actually wasn’t made with AI at all. I just used the original image as-is. Her default outfit already looks like a department jacket style, so there wasn’t much reason to generate a new version.

Ritsu belongs to the Special Trading Department at Wildhunt Art Academy alongside Miyo and Fuyu, and she’s also the person who founded the department in the first place.
She has a simple, optimistic personality and tends to dive right into anything that looks fun, but the key point is that the department could function in practice because of her immense strength and her habit of handling all the heavy lifting. It really does make you want to see her arm-wrestle Cashibel.
Wrapping Up
That’s all for today. I’ve heard the 3.1 Pro model was recently added to Google Gemini, and that NanoBanana has gotten even better because of it, so if you’re curious, why not try putting your favorite NPCs into a few fun what-if scenarios too?
