Today, let’s talk about taking care of your smartphone.

We use our smartphones every day!

But is yours safe?

Let’s look at some ways to take care of it.

Keeping It Clean

You’ve probably seen headlines like this:

“OOO is dirtier than a toilet.”

On average, smartphones are said to carry far more germs than toilets.

So what can you do?

I occasionally wipe mine down with alcohol swabs from DAISO.

They’re very inexpensive at DAISO, so they won’t cost you much.

I’ve heard that wiping the screen too often can damage it, though.

So I mainly use the swabs to clean the sides and back.

First, take your phone out of its case.

Wipe the case with an alcohol swab.

Then use an eyeglass cleaning cloth to wipe away any remaining alcohol.

Wipe your phone with an alcohol swab in the same way.

A word of caution!

Wiping your phone too often may shorten its lifespan.

Rather than constantly wiping your phone,

washing your hands frequently may be a better way to keep things clean.

You can also use your phone to make your account more secure.
