Hello,
I’m Jmer, and I’m active as a Nexon Picker.
If you play mobile games often, you naturally end up holding your smartphone for longer periods of time.
That also means fingerprints, sweat, and dust can build up easily on the screen and case.
Today, I’ll walk you through how to clean your phone screen and case to keep your smartphone hygienic!
1. How to clean the screen
Personally, I usually clean mine with alcohol wipes!
First, make sure the phone is powered off and the case has been removed before you start cleaning.
Gently wipe the screen in one direction with the alcohol wipe.
For the corners and bezel areas, wipe them as well using light pressure.
Be careful not to rub too hard, though, as this can damage the screen coating.
Also, if the alcohol wipe is too wet, liquid can seep into the speaker or ports,
so it’s best to use one that is only slightly damp.
To finish, wipe it once more with a dry microfiber cloth for a clean, streak-free result!
2. How to clean the case
Since the case is in direct contact with your hands, dirt tends to build up even more easily.
The cleaning method varies slightly depending on the type of case.
-
Silicone/TPU case : Wash with lukewarm water and a mild detergent
-
Hard plastic case : Wipe lightly with an alcohol wipe
-
Leather case : Avoid washing with water and clean with a dry cloth
If you do wash the case with water, make sure it is completely dry before putting it back on.
If you reattach it while moisture remains, humidity can build up inside and may harm the device, so please be careful!
3. Additional tips for more hygienic use!
-
Wash your hands first, then use your smartphone when you get home
-
Do not take your phone with you when using the bathroom
-
Do not leave it for long periods on the bed, floor, or similar surfaces
These may seem like small habits, but if you keep them up consistently, you can use your smartphone much more hygienically.
Whether you want to enjoy mobile games for longer or simply use your device for longer,
please keep in mind that smartphone hygiene is more important than you might think!
