In this post, we’ll look at how to organize your inventory in MapleLand.

As with most MMORPGs, the longer you stay out adventuring, the more your inventory gradually fills up,

and it’s very common to run into frustrating situations where you can’t pick up any more items,

which means good inventory management also calls for the skill of organization, backed by smart choices and efficient decision-making.

Let’s go over which features you can use to clean up your inventory.!

💎 Refining piled-up ores / gem raw materials

MapleLand features a fairly wide variety of mineral items.

These items are used for quests and equipment crafting, and they also come up in job advancement quests,

so they have a wide range of uses.

However, because they tend to accumulate in large quantities, they often end up sitting in your inventory

and become a real headache by taking up a lot of space,

especially since only 100 items can be stored per slot,

which means once you go past 100, they start consuming an additional slot.

So what should you do in that case..?

The best option is to convert stacked mineral items into their refined form.

You can refine items through these NPCs,

and since 10 raw ores are required for each complete mineral,

one round of refining can clean up a large stack of raw ore items very efficiently.

Of course, since raw-state ore items may also be required for quests or as materials,

rather than refining everything, it’s recommended to keep roughly a raw 3 : refined 7 ratio on hand.

🎁Running a storage character

(Using the delivery system)

Of course, refining items still creates new stacks,

which can leave you dealing with yet another round of inventory cleanup.

In that situation, using a storage-only character (alt) is also a solid option.

Unfortunately, since a warehouse/storage feature has not been implemented in MapleLand,

you can’t use the usual method of moving items into storage for safekeeping.

Instead, by making good use of the item delivery feature

you can store items safely.

Since delivery only requires the recipient character’s name,

you can move up to 12 items at a time to an alt and use that character like a mobile storage.

Used this way, it lets you hold onto refined minerals

as well as other items that feel too valuable to throw away,

so your main inventory can stay much more manageable.

Unfortunately, a base cost of 5,000 mesos per delivery is required,

and you also have the extra task of managing the storage character’s inventory, but..

for now, this is still the best available substitute for storage,

so all we can really do is wait for a future update.

🗑 Boldly sell or discard items

To manage a limited inventory,

you also need the resolve to throw away items you do not use.

Items stored away with the thought of “maybe I’ll use this someday..”

usually end up collecting dust and getting in the way of your next adventure.

For example

Consumable items you no longer use, various arrow items (except for the archer class group),

and scroll items that your character does not need are all major causes of slot bloat.

Be decisive and either discard them or pass them along to other players.

Untradeable items used in quests can also take up slots,

and in those cases,

it’s a good idea to ask other players for help,

or take a little time and get rid of them gradually.

Sometimes they lead into another quest that reissues the item for the next step,

but if it comes from a quest that never gives it again, the consequences can be very serious,

so in situations like this, rather than throwing the item away as soon as you receive it, through methods like searching or asking for advice,

it’s recommended to check whether it is actually safe to discard.

Low-level players should avoid keeping mineral items if possible.

Players who have just started their adventure usually have very limited inventory space,

and because they also need to collect a wide range of quest items, inventory management becomes especially demanding,

so at that stage, items that are not used in quests or are only needed later

are best disposed of without hesitation.

💳Selective Slot Expansion Ticket

Buying a slot expansion ticket to increase your available space

is definitely one of the most reliable ways to make the game feel more comfortable,

and it’s also a great option if you want to loot freely without constantly worrying about inventory space.

It does require a bit of spending,

but making character progression easier by investing more has long been a Maple tradition.

Of course, slot expansion tickets are not only available through direct purchase,

but can also be obtained through various limited-time events.

On special days and during special seasons, simply playing the game consistently

can earn you expansion ticket items and increase your inventory space,

so it’s worth joining events regularly and not letting them pass you by.
