Today, let’s look at some of MapleStory’s best photo spots. Maple has been known for a long time for all kinds of cute, charming places where you can snap a great screenshot. Along with some scenic spots for that perfect shot, I’ll also go over a few places people say are lucky for enhancement!

Aran’s hometown, Rien

A long time ago, back when Aran had an easier time hitting level 200, there was a rumor among Aran players that if you did your own gear crafting here, your enhancement luck would be better. At the time, I was really focused on raising my Aran, finishing up a Fafnir set, and trying to push my gear from Epic to Unique on my own, so I remember spending a lot of time enhancing here.

And it wasn’t just by the polearm either. Even inside places in Rien like the library and Lirin’s house, there was such a cute atmosphere that I remember doing a lot of emblem enhancing in there too..!

The place with Arcana’s Spirit Tree

Before level 250 and 6th Job came out, I’m sure a lot of people still remember enhancing here. If you look back at YouTube videos from streamers in particular, it really stands out how many of them did their enhancement sessions under the tree in the map with Arcana’s Spirit Tree.

Count Ristonia’s office

From here on, I’ll recommend a few easy-to-reach photo spots if you want to grab that perfect life shot!

Does the name Ristonia sound familiar? It’s the map where Adele from Grandis appears, and there are actually quite a few great places to take photos inside the mansion. Aside from the ballroom, the Count’s office in the photo is another spot with a really nice atmosphere.

On top of the tree in Eurel

Eurel, where MapleStory’s hero Mercedes was frozen, is also a really famous spot. It’s not just known for enhancement luck—you can get great life shots here too. The portal right next to it, the King’s Resting Place, and even the area beneath the tree are all fantastic places for screenshots, with flower petals falling around you.

Ludibrium Village

Ludibrium has that distinctive toy-block kind of feel, and with Fantasy Theme Park too, it’s a place where you can really enjoy a lot of different moods. The spot I went into here is the “Empty House” you can enter from the village.

So those were the five photo spots I wanted to share today.

I remember a lot of people really loving Arcana’s story and overall vibe, so there were quite a few players who especially liked the Arcana area in Arcane River. Even so, my personal favorite is still Rien, Aran’s hometown, which I introduced first.

I’ve always loved the stories of MapleStory’s hero characters, so Aran’s hometown—since Aran was the first character I raised—and then Eurel after that are both among my favorite places.
