Today, let’s take a look at some great photo spots in MapleStory. The game has long been known for its charming little locations that make the perfect backdrop for screenshots. We’ll visit a few places to capture that perfect shot, along with spots where some players swear they have better luck with enhancements!

Rien, Aran’s Hometown

Way back when getting Aran to level 200 was easy, Aran players used to say they had better luck enhancing their own gear here. Back then, I was busy leveling my Aran, putting together a Fafnir set, and rolling my gear from Epic to Unique myself. I remember spending plenty of time here working on those enhancements.

There’s more to this place than the spot beside the polearm. Inside Rien’s library, Lilin’s house, and the other buildings, you’ll find that same cozy charm. I remember spending plenty of time working on my emblem in those little rooms..!

Arcana, Where the Spirit Tree Stands

Many of you probably still remember enhancing here back before 250 and 6th Job came along. Streamers especially come to mind—I remember watching their YouTube videos and seeing them do plenty of enhancements beneath Arcana’s Spirit Tree.

The Count’s Office in Ristonia

Next, let’s focus on photo spots that are easy to reach when you’re after that perfect screenshot!

Ristonia rings a bell, doesn’t it? It’s the map where Adele, who hails from Grandis, makes her appearance. The mansion has quite a few great spots for screenshots, and it’s not just the ballroom—the Count’s Office, where I took this shot, has plenty of atmosphere, too.

Up in the Trees of Elluel

Elluel, where MapleStory’s hero Mercedes lay frozen, is another well-known spot for both enhancements and great screenshots. Head through the portal right next door to 왕의 쉼터, or find a spot beneath the trees. The falling flower petals in both places make for some lovely shots.

Ludibrium Village

I like Ludibrium for its distinctive toy-and-building-block feel. With Fantasy Theme World here as well, there are plenty of different moods to enjoy. For this shot, I stepped into an “Empty House” you can enter from the village.

I remember Arcana being a favorite region in Arcane River for many players, thanks to its story and atmosphere. My own favorite, though, is still Rien, Aran’s hometown and the first stop on this list.

I’ve always enjoyed the stories of MapleStory’s Heroes, so the hometown of Aran, the first character I leveled, holds a special place for me. Elluel comes right after Rien on my list of favorite places!
