[Mabinogi Mobile] What should we name our guild?
unknown
Hey, Adventurer~!
Hope you’re enjoying life in Erinn and making the most of it!
After spending enough time in Erinn,
you’re bound to run into moments when you need help from another adventurer.
And honestly, instead of looking for people every single time, it’s much easier to join a guild and stick together,
which is why so many adventurers end up joining one.
I joined a guild too and have been running around with my guildmates,
so how about you, Adventurer? Have you found a guild you really like yet?
If you’re thinking about starting your own guild and recruiting people yourself,
this post should be a big help!
One of the biggest things to worry about when making a guild is the name!
I’ll help you out juuuust a little😁
1 Make your guild name match your guild flag
When you create a guild, you get to pick a symbolic image called a “flag.”
There are lots of different flag designs available, so go ahead and choose one you like.
Then why not build your guild name around that flag image?
For example, the guild I’m in has a flag with a blazing campfire on it.
So our guild name includes the word “campfire” too.
If your flag has things like spears or shields on it, try using words like “Knights,” “Mercenaries,” “Warriors,” or “Guardians”
to give it that strong, dependable feel~
If your flag features animals like dragons or wolves, it can work really well to use that animal name directly.
For example, “Tir Chonaill Wolves,” “Foxes of Erinn,” “The Red Dragon of Emain Macha”... something like that!
If you decide on your guild’s image through the flag first, then think about what kind of guild you want it to be,
coming up with the name gets a whole lot easier.
2 Make a guild name using place names from Erinn
Here’s the second way to come up with an awesome guild name!
Yep, yep~ use place names from Erinn😉
Personally, I think hunting ground names are a great place to start.
Names like “Wolf Forest,” “Goddess’s Garden,” and “Ice Canyon” already sound cool and atmospheric, right?
If using them exactly as they are doesn’t feel quite right, try adding another word to the front or back.
“Wolf Forest Watchers,” “Guardians of Goddess’s Garden,” “Ice Canyon Guides,” and so on~
If you want a lighter, more playful vibe, how about names like these?
“Wolf Forest Troublemakers,” “My Living Room in Goddess’s Garden,” “Lost in Ice Canyon,” maybe...?
Using town names can sound really cool too.
I come across guild names with town names in them pretty often, actually.
“Dunbarton Merchants’ Union,” “Colhen Mercenaries,” “Tir Chonaill Adventurers”...
3 Make a guild name that shows off your main interest
What’s your reason for making a guild, Adventurer?
Why not give it a name that makes that purpose clear?
An adventurer I know loves getting everyone together for ensemble performances
and sharing sheet music, so they picked a name that reflects that~
If you love playing instruments or performing in ensembles,
“Erinn Performance Experts,” “Emain Macha Bard Union,” “Bean Rua Players”
could be the kind of name to go for👍
If you’re more into combat content and regularly run Abyss or take on raids,
how about names like “Erinn Demon Subjugation Alliance,” “Colhen Hunters’ Gathering,” or “AbyssVIP”
If you keep all three of these tips in mind while naming your guild,
you’ll probably end up with an amazing guild name you won’t regret! (Probably?)
Just be careful not to make other adventurers uncomfortable,
and I hope you come up with a unique guild name that really shows off your own wit and style!
And if you’ve got any other helpful naming tips besides the ones I shared,
drop them in the comments—I’d love to hear them~
Alright then, see you next time, Adventurer!
Bye~🖐🖐🖐
