MapleLand MapleStory Land Lower Path Village Tiger Hunting Quest Guide (How to Get to Wild Boar Territory)
게임하늘
Hello, this is Game Sky.
Today, we’ll be covering another quest from Maple Land’s Korean Folk Town. First though, I hope you all had a great Lunar New Year! And if you’re a Maple Land player, you didn’t forget to grab the Lunar New Year event rewards, right? Anyway, Happy New Year, and I hope your year is filled with nothing but good things. Now, on to today’s main topic—in this post, we’ll take a look at one of Bak Cheomji’s quests, Tiger Hunt.
Now then, let the hunt begin...

Bak Cheomji |

Bak Cheomji asks whether you’ve ever heard of Hogeol, who lives on Crow Mountain. According to him, Hogeol used to be a large, dignified tiger, but suddenly turned violent and started attacking people. If this keeps up, something terrible is bound to happen soon, so he says he’s gathering hunters to take Hogeol down.
He says Hogeol often appears around the middle of Crow Mountain, which is why that area is called Tiger Valley. In any case, he asks you to head there and bring back 10 Hogeol kills and 10 Tiger Skins. Judging by the way he says he wants to test your bravery, he seems like the type who enjoys making other people do the work.

Hodori and Hogeol Hunting Grounds |
|---|
First up is Small Pondside. This map is mainly home to level 50 Hodori, though two level 53 Hogeol can occasionally appear here as well.
Next are Tiger Forest 1 and 2. These hunting maps are also packed with Hodori, while only around two Hogeol spawn there. Just like the previous map, they’re excellent for hunting Hodori, but not very efficient for farming Hogeol.
Tiger Ridge is much the same. Hodori appear frequently, and only around two Hogeol live there. So again, it still feels a bit inefficient as a proper Hogeol hunting map.
At least in Crow Mountain Valley, around 3 to 4 Hogeol appear instead of Hodori. However, since another monster, Samiho, also spawns there, it still feels a little awkward to recommend as a hunting map.

How to Get to Wild Boar Territory |

Do you see the spot at the upper-left side of Tiger Ridge that looks like a broken cart? Press the up arrow key there to move into the Hidden Street.
Once you do that, you can enter Wild Boar Territory. About two level 70 Tamed Wild Boars appear there, but the map is mainly populated by several Hogeol. It’s the best place for hunting Hogeol, but since the boars are level 70 monsters, you’ll want to be careful.

Reward |
|---|
After defeating 10 Hogeol and collecting 10 Tiger Skins, I received 20,000 EXP as the reward.
With Bak Cheomji asking you to stay in the village a little longer, the quest comes to an end.

Wrapping Up |
|---|
Today, we went over Tiger Hunt. It’s basically a nice quest to clear while you’re already hunting Hogeol anyway. The reward isn’t especially generous, but the quest itself is simple, so it still feels fair enough.
That’s all from Game Sky. Thank you!
