Famous screenshot spots in MapleStory #사진명소
마빡도로시
Hello
This post is about photo spots—maps with backgrounds that work especially well for in-game screenshots.
MapleStory has a huge variety of maps, but a few are especially well known as screenshot spots. After checking various search results, I gathered the scenery and exact locations of the maps that were consistently praised.
Official feature: Capture Mode
Before getting into the locations, you can turn on Capture Mode from the first menu in the Etc. category of the settings window, or by using the shortcut key. When enabled, it removes all UI elements such as HP/MP, menus, hotkeys, and the mouse cursor, leaving only the background and your character so you can take clean screenshots.
You can exit with ESC or the Capture Mode shortcut key, and you can still move and use skills while it is active.
Kerning City: In front of the sunset at the top far left
Ellodin, Forest of Secrets: Forest Where Light Flows 1
Ellodin, Forest of Secrets: Deep in the Forest Where the Spring Flows
Both of the locations above are maps from the theme dungeon [Ellodin, Forest of Secrets]. Even though they are part of a theme dungeon, you can go there right away without doing the quests, which makes them convenient.
Ristonia: Ristonia Square
Ereve: On top of the central tree in Ereve
You can either jump up using the rope connector or take the hidden portal at the base of the tree.
Ereve: Blooming Forest
You can enter through the rope on the right side of Blooming Forest 1.
Korean Folk Town: Forbidden Cliff
Henesys: Henesys Park
NEW Wedding Park
The cloud heart in the center of the map
On top of the chapel on the right side of the map
This map may be unfamiliar to newer players. You can get there through the NPC shown above. Based on the NPC dialogue, it seems to be a map that is no longer really used in practice, but you can still enter it. Fitting the wedding hall concept, the cloud object is even arranged in a way that works well for group screenshots.
If you click the NPC and choose the top option, you can move to the location shown above. If you choose the bottom option, you will be moved to the Wedding Village map.
It is not as flashy as Wedding Park, but the Wedding Village map is still quite pretty in its own way.
Magatia: Where the Moon Can Be Seen
Magatia is a good option in general. The moon in the background looks great, and the buildings are also attractive, so almost anywhere in town makes for a nice backdrop.
FriendStory: House Where the Wardrobe Fell
FriendStory: Fountain Park
FriendStory: Sunset Open Lot
FriendStory: Drizzle Walkway
FriendStory may also be unfamiliar to newer players, since there is not much reason for them to do that content, but you can enter it through this house in Henesys.
To enter the maps above, you do need to watch the entry sequence at least once. If you skip what you can, it takes about 4 minutes. Start the prologue shown above and move to FriendStory, then
simply close this phone call,
cross the overpass and head to the upper part of the map, then use the bus stop portal to enter those maps. Since FriendStory is a parallel-world take on modern Seoul featuring Maple World characters, its backgrounds are filled with more realistic elements. If you are looking for maps with that kind of atmosphere, this is a useful place to check.
