In this post, we are going to go over the limited-time Lunar New Year events currently running in MapleLand.

There is a lot to cover, so let us get straight into it.

Lunar New Year in MapleLand

• New Year Courtesy Visit

Just as you would visit your hometown or pay respects to your grandparents and parents for the New Year,

in Maple World, you are expected to pay a courtesy visit to the sages in each town, the player's very first mentors.

Perion → Ellinia → Henesys → Kerning City in that order,

you need to make the rounds and deliver your New Year greetings to each job instructor,

Kerning City Jazz Bar - Thieves' Hideout

Once you have gone around and offered your New Year greetings to each job instructor,

you will be given 2 Double EXP Coupon (15 min) items from each one. (8 total)

And that is not all. If you take the

Red Lucky Pouch you received in return for your courtesy visit and hand it to the Maple Administrator

you will receive 2 more Double EXP Coupon (15 min) items. (10 total)

It still does not end there!

Next, you will need to hunt level range monsters

and collect 5 Bokjori stolen by monsters.

※ Level range monsters are monsters within -10 to +10 of the player's level,

and for players Lv. 80 and above, all monsters Lv. 70 and above count as level range monsters.

(For example, if your character is level 46,

then monsters between Lv. 36 and 56 count as your level range monsters.)

Once you have completed all of these quests,

you will receive 2 Double EXP Coupon (15 min) items + 3 2026 Golden Compasses + 100 Tteokguk.

Much like visiting parents and relatives for New Year bows and receiving New Year money,

this quest stands out because, in Maple World, you can travel from town to town and collect EXP coupons that feel just a little more valuable than holiday money.

The difficulty is low, so it can be cleared quickly, but it is only available until midnight on February 20,

so make sure you complete it as soon as possible.!

※ For the EXP coupon items, they can be used for one week after you obtain them, and because they are split by the minute, you will need a total of 6 inventory slots.

※ For the 2026 Golden Compass, Goldrich's Treasure Vault it can be used until before that event ends.

​

※ For the Tteokguk item, there is no time limit, but it cannot be traded or exchanged.

Lunar New Year in MapleLand

• Magpies, Magpies, Lunar New Year Is~

The Magpies, Magpies, Lunar New Year Is~ event

is an attendance event you can complete during the Lunar New Year holiday.

You can accept the quest immediately through the yellow star-shaped Quest UI on the left side of the screen.

Simply by logging in, you can receive 3 different sets of items over 3 days, but

(This almost feels like a bit of a tease??)

You can claim the items only on that specific day

so do not miss it—log in on time and make sure you collect them.

Because the item lineup changes slightly depending on the day you log in,

you can stock up on a solid range of rewards, including 6 EXP coupons,

and since MapleLand supports mobile access through the MapleStory Worlds app,

you can easily log in on mobile and complete the quest even without a PC,

so be sure to take advantage of that as well.
