Is this a mobile game or a PC game? It’s a cross-platform title.

Hello.
This is Mapo Fries.
Today, I’ll go over the pros and cons of Dungeon&Fighter Mobile on each platform.
What is cross-platform?
Simply put, it means the same game can be played across different operating systems or platforms.
Dungeon&Fighter Mobile and Mabinogi Mobile can be played on both PC and phone,
and games like Khazan, 퍼디, and Aradias can be played on Steam or consoles.
On the Nexon homepage, the platforms a game supports are shown as icons below the game icon.
Dungeon&Fighter Mobile - Smartphone
As the name Dungeon&Fighter Mobile suggests,
DNF Mobile was released as a game designed to be played on smartphones.
Advantages of playing on a phone
1. You can play anywhere.
You can play on your morning commute or on your way home in the evening.
2. You can see skill names while playing.
On mobile, you can set the icons to display skill names,
so you can play while checking the skill names directly.
3. Potion switching is easier.
Since you do it by tapping the screen, switching potions feels convenient.
On PC, you have to take one hand off and press the swap button.
Disadvantages of playing on a phone
1. The controls are harder.
Honestly, this is the part I find most disappointing. It is clearly a mobile game, but there are times when it demands precise control that is hard to pull off on a phone.
When a monster attack overlaps with my character in the area where you use skills like this, it becomes hard to see.. (the screenshot itself is not a dangerous situation, though)
2. Lag depending on internet conditions
If your connection slows down during your commute, the game can start stuttering from time to time.
Thankfully, DNF Mobile handles this fairly well, so even if you disconnect, you can reconnect and continue where you left off.
Dungeon&Fighter Mobile - PC Version
Still, most hardcore gamers tend to play on PC..
DNF Mobile also has a PC version, so plenty of users play it that way.
Advantages of playing on PC
1. More precise control is possible.
Obviously, since you can use the directional keys, you can control your character much more precisely, which is a big advantage when it comes to handling.
2. You can use commands.
This is definitely an advantage, although it does feel a little odd that a mobile game lets you use commands on PC.
In theory, that means on PC you can use every skill without being limited by skill slots..
3. The game is more stable.
On PC, unlike mobile, you do not have the same lag issues caused by internet conditions or device performance, so the game feels more stable overall.
Disadvantages of playing on PC
1. You cannot play just anytime.
This is obvious, but you can only play that way if you have access to a PC.
2. The potion switching button is inconvenient.
It is awkward because you have to take one hand off and click the switch button with the mouse.
And the button itself is fairly small.
Still, looking at how much more convenient this is on mobile, it does seem like the game is still fundamentally designed as a mobile game.
Overall
Ironically, even though DNF Mobile is a mobile game, playing on PC seems to give you more advantages..
Still, since I can run Hell Party on the subway, I keep doing it on my commute and hope for good drops.
