Now, on to the guide: let’s walk through Shammos’s Request, a quest from a suspicious goblin named Shammos in El Nath.

Shammos

This suspicious-looking goblin asks you to hear him out.

Shammos may look suspicious, but he asks for your help all the same. He’s preparing something and says there’s an item he absolutely needs before he can proceed.

Shammos won’t tell you what he’s preparing. He does reveal, though, that he needs something called the Dark Contract for the ritual to succeed.

Despite a long and thorough investigation, all he has learned is that someone in Perion knows about the Dark Contract.

So he asks you to go to Perion, get the Dark Contract from that person, and bring it back.

With that, I left El Nath and Orbis behind and boarded the transport to Ellinia. All that travel can make a quest feel like a chore.

Manji

Who better to ask than Perion’s mysterious Manji? Go ahead and talk to him.

Manji asks how you could possibly have heard about the Dark Contract. Click the second dialogue option to continue. Your character explains that they came across it during their travels and want to learn more, since that knowledge might help them defeat an enemy someday.

Manji isn’t sure how you found out about it, but he warns that the Dark Contract holds terrifying power. It’s the source of the power that keeps Coolie Zombies and Miner Zombies moving—monsters that have died and risen again.

How to Get the Dark Contract

As you might expect, the zombies are in the Forest of Dead Trees in El Nath. Hunt them until a Dark Contract drops.

This is what the Dark Contract looks like. Once you’ve obtained it from the zombies, return to Shammos. Since I was already in El Nath, the trip back was quick.

Rewards

When you return to Shammos, you receive 1 mystery reward and lose 2 Fame. You’d expect a generous reward to make up for that loss of Fame.

You’ll receive a random scroll: one of 6 in total, with 10% and 60% versions of scrolls for Shoes for Avoidability, Jump, and Speed.

The best reward is the 10% Scroll for Shoes for Jump, since it sells for the most mesos. The others reportedly sell for around 200,000 to 800,000 mesos.

Wrapping Up
