If you play Nexon games,

there’s one app you pretty much need to have on your phone.

It’s Nexon Play!

When you log into a game, you take the 4-digit number shown on the game screen

and enter it yourself in the Nexon Play app on your phone under Nexon OTP,

which means it’s a very effective way to protect yourself from hacking.

That said, entering the OTP every single time you launch a game can get really tedious and annoying,

so there’s a useful option for anyone who feels that way.

It’s the designated PC setting!

In my case, I mostly play MapleStory at home, so I set my home computer as a designated PC,

and it’s so much more convenient not having to enter the OTP or secondary password every time I log in.

Nexon OTP isn’t only for logging into games, either.

You also need it when deleting a character or changing a non-tradable item into a tradable one,

so it’s great for helping prevent situations like a character you spent ages raising getting deleted.
