Hello,

I'm 제이메르, a Nexon Picker 😊

In the 2000s, internet access was expanding rapidly, and PC gaming was becoming a popular pastime.
Back then, Nexon was running games like The Kingdom of the Winds, DNF, Crazy Arcade, KartRider, and MapleStory

and winning over countless players with its PC game lineup.

I have fond memories of playing all of those games.
But account security wasn't as strong back then as it is today.
Accounts getting hacked was a fairly common problem.

I had my MapleStory account hacked when I was in elementary school.
I logged in to find my character stripped of all equipment and my inventory completely empty.
It was such a shock at that age that I still remember it vividly..!

That's why today, I'd like to share something worth knowing if you play Nexon games:

how to set up your account security.

Nexon has an app called 'Nexon Play'.

Along with keeping up with game news, you can manage your account security,

earn Play Points, use the shop, and top up your Nexon Cash!

You can download it on both Android and iOS.

Nexon Play lets you check your Play Points, Nexon Cash, and stored items.
It also brings your game activity history together in one place, making everything easier to manage.
If you enjoy Nexon games, it's worth having installed.

Nexon Play also gives you more control over login security.
For example, you can log in from a PC you've designated without any extra verification.

But if you log in at a PC café or on another device,

you'll need to get a verification code from Nexon Play and enter it before you can log in!

Other features include one-time login, biometric authentication, and even remote logout! ✌

In MapleStory in particular, important actions such as unlocking items, using scissors, or deleting a character

also require OTP verification.

When you enter a verification code, notifications let you check which game the login attempt is for

and which action needs verification.

Even when someone I know uses my account briefly, I can tell right away, which gives me peace of mind!

You can also earn Play Points by taking part in Nexon Play-exclusive events.
Those points can be used like cash, which adds a little extra fun.

If you play Nexon games, consider installing the app to help keep your account safe.

It supports a range of other activities too, so I encourage you to give it a try!

I hope you've found today's post helpful as well :)
