Today, we are looking at another MapleLand quest, this time in Aquarium. Specifically, we will go through Kenta's Marine Life Investigation, a quest where you investigate Aquarium monsters to help Kenta.

Kenta

She says she has noticed something strange in Aquarium. The animals seem different, either lacking energy or becoming unusually aggressive.

She says the cause may be a sea storm, and because she wants to investigate it, she asks the player for help.

Once you accept, she thanks you for helping. She asks you to investigate the animals' cell samples, meaning you need to collect 1 of each cell sample found in Aquarium.

First

First is Cico. Cico mainly spawns on Blue Seaweed Road, so you can stay there and keep hunting until the sample drops. The drop rate is not especially low, so this one should be easy to pick up.

Next are Cicle and Pinboom. They spawn in the Sharp Square Zone, and as before, you just need to hunt them and collect their cell samples.

The first reward is Wizard Potion. You get 30 of them, and while the EXP reward is only 500 EXP, it still feels decent enough.

Second

Kenta says she is still investigating Aqua Road. Thanks to the help you gave her earlier, she found a few suspicious points, but there are still plenty of unanswered questions. So this time, she wants to examine samples from other animals as well.

Next, you need to collect samples from Flower Fish, Mask Fish, and Bubble Fish.

First is Mask Fish. It appears at the Eastern Sea Fork, so it is easy to reach quickly. As before, the drop rate is not low, so getting the sample should not take long.

Next are Flower Fish and Bubble Fish at Sand Castle Playground. Hunt them there and collect the samples.

The second reward is an equipment item called Kenta's Fish Harpoon. It is not especially useful, but it does have the feel of a nice souvenir. The EXP reward is 2,500 EXP.

Third

Now for the final part. This time, the targets are Puffer, Sparker, and Freezer, and once again, you need to collect each of their cell samples.

First, head to the Western Sea Fork. There, you need to hunt Freezer and Sparky and collect their samples.

After that, you need to hunt Puffer. It is located at Sea Gorge, and once you collect its sample as well, Kenta's Marine Life Investigation will be complete.

Final Reward

The final reward is 6,500 EXP, 10 Dolphin Taxi Tickets, and 50 Air Bubbles. Dolphin Taxi fares are quite expensive to begin with, so getting 10 tickets feels very worthwhile.
