Today, I'd like to introduce a boss

who gives your fingers quite a workout:

에이렐, a raid boss in Mabinogi Mobile.

Full of surprises!

An adorable wind spirit

에이렐 is a wind spirit.

She took an interest in human music and practiced hard,

but the other spirits paid her no attention, leaving her lonely.

Her favorite way to ease that loneliness?

Playing music and pulling pranks on adventurers who visit the island!

She's a little like a siren, but her motives are much cuter.

A serious finger workout

with challenging mechanics!

Among the bosses released in Mabinogi Mobile so far,

에이렐 has some of the most demanding mechanics to handle.

Getting hit by red attacks adds musical notes,

while getting hit by green attacks removes them.

Once you reach 3 notes, you'll break into a frenzied dance,

putting your life in serious danger.

I've learned the mechanics well enough to write an 에이렐 guide,

but they're still tricky enough that I occasionally end up dancing!

Every fight gives my fingers quite a workout.

A first for Mabinogi Mobile!

A rhythm game joins the mix

The highlight of the 에이렐 fight plays out like a rhythm game.

Each party member picks up an instrument

and has to pop 3 musical notes to survive.

Once you clear the raid, 에이렐 comes to her senses

and quietly plays her music.

Unlike other bosses you finish off for good,

she's kind at heart, so things end on a friendly note.

A Very Hard difficulty for 에이렐 is also planned for a future release.

From her adorable design to her overall theme, she offers a different kind of charm than the Succubus,

making her the boss I'm personally most excited about!
