Get Those Fingers Ready! A Quick Guide to the DNF Mobile Minigame

DNF Mobile regularly adds event-style mini-games.

Some players felt that mini-games only added more chores to the daily routine, so recent updates have generally moved in a direction that avoids putting too much burden on players.

The daily content "Guild Bingo," where you cleared several mini-games for rewards, was even removed quite a while ago.

Even so, some mini-games are still playable on the arcade machines in the guild hideout, and you can even get your name onto the all-server rankings.

So, here’s a quick look at the mini-games currently available.

Ruins Excavation

Ruins Excavation is basically a mix of Minesweeper and an escape-room setup.

You press and hold on rocks that might hide bombs to place flags, and once you identify all the bomb rocks around your current position, the empty rocks break and open a path forward.

As you break rocks, a key will appear in one of the corners. Use it to open the door and move on to the next room.

The rock-breaking sound has a nice bit of impact, and once you get used to the flow and start speeding up, it becomes twice as fun.

If you like Minesweeper, I’d recommend difficulty level 10 or higher.

Arad Fighting King

It’s a simple setup: if a monster appears on the left, hit left; if it appears on the right, hit right to send it flying.

If you're playing on the PC version, you can score higher during Fever Time by pressing the left+right buttons and clicking the mouse at the same time.

Mini Mini Pang Pang

This one works by holding the button to adjust your distance, then jumping.

You get the highest score by landing in the small hexagon at the exact center, while green blocks work the opposite way—you score the most by landing on the outermost edge.

There are also special blocks for extra time, double points, and double jump gauge charge speed, which adds a nice layer of strategy.

Challenge Breaker King

The goal here is to destroy a safe within 1 minute.

There are 3 stages in total, but that was based on a previous season, so in the current season the safe goes down easily in under 10 seconds.

This is a mini-game that really needs another stage update soon.

Uppercut Master

You score points by moving left and right and attacking monsters to launch them into the air.

Monsters disappear once they hit the ground, so the key is to keep juggling them with combos.

Heavier monsters that don’t fly very high are worth double points, and hitting several monsters at once gives you bonus points.

Chase! Express Train

There’s no time limit here—you just survive as long as possible without letting the boat get destroyed. It’s actually a mini-game version of content that used to appear in the old dungeon (Chase! Express Train), so it has a bit of nostalgic value too.

You want to collide with Mermen, Kong Kong, and treasure chests, while avoiding obstacle crates and walls.

Pick up the booster item that looks like a fuel tank, and you can dash forward quickly while invincible.

Mining and Fishing

This content isn’t on the arcade machines—instead, there’s a separate fishing spot and mining area inside the guild hideout.

Mining works a lot like Challenge Breaker King, progressing through charge attacks or rapid taps depending on the situation.

For fishing, you reel in with the right directional button, and if you pull the rod with the spacebar at the right timing, you can trigger Fever Time. It’s fairly challenging in its own way, and there’s real fun in landing a big catch and setting a record.

The minerals and fish you gather this way are used as ingredients for the guild feast. You can eat it once per day, the effect lasts for 1 hour, and higher-grade feasts are especially useful before entering Hasmar.

Wrapping Up

Please add this one to the arcade machines too

The pattern that gets my fingers moving the most these days

Of course, DNF Mobile is a game where the main combat content is more fun than the mini-games. These days, Hasmar and Valley of Extinction (Elite Dungeon) are where you can really put your fingers through a proper workout.

Still, when you’re just idly roaming around in DNF, playing a round of a mini-game can be a refreshing change of pace. Taking a shot at the rankings has its own appeal too.
