Every game has items that catch players’ attention.

DNF Mobile is no exception.

​

With the new season now about two months in, let’s take a look at the items trending in DNF Mobile.

Free Weapon Avatars

Available until March 26 at 6 a.m.

First up are the free weapon avatars.

​

A little while ago, players got to vote for their favorite of 4 weapon avatars for each character. The winning weapon avatars made it into the game and were given away for free.

Some favorites narrowly missed out, finishing second, so plenty of players voiced their disappointment, and the results were a hot topic in the community for a while.

​

You can get your first weapon avatar for free, then buy up to 11 more for 10,000 Terra each. They’re purely cosmetic, but at that price they’re practically giving them away, so I bought as many as I could.

Personally, 흑도 is my favorite because it goes so well with the Dark Templar’s skill effects.

A close second is the Warrior’s 흑주, a weapon whose sheer size really makes it stand out.

On a related note, there are also a horse-head avatar and a weapon avatar available for free as mission rewards.

They seem to have been made to mark this year’s Year of the Red Horse, and their cute designs suit the Mage nicely.

Lucky Pot

Next up is the Lucky Pot.

​

It’s a type of loot box you can buy with Souls at the Exchange, with a small chance of getting a best-in-slot earring enchantment bead. You can put the bead to use yourself or sell it on the marketplace for a tidy sum of Terra.

You can buy as many Lucky Pots as you like, provided you have enough Rare/Unique Souls, but the best value comes from buying the limited weekly allotment with Epic/Exceed Souls.

That gives me something to look forward to each weekly reset: opening pots with high hopes of a good drop. I occasionally see people sharing their lucky finds in guild chat, but unfortunately, I haven’t had that luck myself.

Elting Memorial’s Memories Set

Third on the list is the Elting Memorial’s Memories set.

​

This is arguably the accessory set defining the current meta, thanks to a set bonus that boosts the damage of level 15–30 skills by a whopping 30%.

​

As a result, classes that rely on level 15–30 skills have surged into the upper ranks, while even classes that didn’t previously use those skills are reworking their builds around the set.

Even 하스마르 is a fairly comfortable clear

I recently completed the Elting set on my Elementalist, too, and gave my skill build a major overhaul.

​

The new build is a little harder to play, but I saw my damage increase by over 20%. That’s a massive jump.

Wave of Madness Badge and Tag

Last up are the Wave of Madness badge and tag.

​

Whether these technically count as items is debatable, but you earn them by clearing 파광의 아스마르 on Hard, DNF Mobile’s most difficult challenge, so they fit into much the same category.

​

You register the badge in your Explorer Club’s Memorial Hall, where other players can see it when checking your profile.

​

It serves as a sign that someone knows what they’re doing. Players sometimes check for the badge when putting together a party to clear 하스마르, too.

The Explorer Club tag is a kind of title that appears above your character’s name, alongside your Explorer Club name. You can tell a lot of effort went into making its design stand out from the other tags.

Between them, the 하스마르 badge and tag have become some of the biggest talking points in DNF Mobile. I’m looking forward to the upcoming Disaster Dungeon, Soldoros, as well.

To me, the popular items that defined an era hold memories of that time. That’s why I keep the gear I used regularly in my vault, rather than throwing it away when the season changes.
