Out of all Nexon games, MapleStory is the only one I’ve loved this much and stuck with for so long.

Maybe that’s why Maple ends up affecting my real life quite a bit too.

Before I started playing Maple, Thursday was just another weekday to me,

but once I got into Maple, the way I saw Thursdays totally changed.

Maple has a lot of things that reset every Thursday,

and the one that gets me the most hyped is this:

● The boss coin shop Black Cubes and Additional Cubes that reset every Thursday

You can only use 3 Karma Black Cubes and 3 Additional Cubes per week,

and since that resets every Thursday,

the second Thursday hits, I buy Karma Black Cubes and Additional Cubes from the boss coin shop

and use them on the gear I want. It’s weirdly such a tease.

So yeah, I spend every week counting down to Thursday!

● Test server patches and live broadcasts that happen on certain Thursdays

On certain Thursdays, Maple does test server patches along with live broadcasts,

and those are the ones where they show off all kinds of coordi items I care about most, like new Royal Style, new Master Label, and new Premium Hair/Face,

and then every Thursday, the patches shown on the test server get applied to the live server too.

That’s why I look forward to certain Thursdays so much,

and just thinking about what pretty new coordi items might show up on the test server is enough to make my whole Thursday feel extra happy🙂

There have to be a lot of MapleStory players like me whose Thursdays turned into Maple Day—목요일은 메요일, right?ㅎㅎ
