Sometimes when I'm playing MapleStory,

I catch myself thinking, “This would be such a fun gift for a friend!”

So, for a little lighthearted fun today,

I've rounded up 5 quirky in-game gifts I'd love to give my friends—guaranteed to get a laugh!

1. Orange Mushroom Mount

What's your favorite mount in MapleStory?
Mine has to be the Orange Mushroom Mount.

It looks just like the Orange Mushroom monster, right down to its size, except your character peeks out where its face should be.
Funny and cute all at once!

I got this mount on my old main 6 years ago.
It's cute, but I've also grown really attached to it—that's what makes me want to give one to a friend!

2. Shrimp Meat

Shrimp Meat is a monster drop you get from defeating Shrimp Slimes at Gold Beach!
It looks like an ordinary item, but there's a little story behind why I remember it so well.

I actually don't like shrimp.
A friend who knew that used to collect Shrimp Meat in-game and keep giving it to me as a joke!

So this one's less a gift I'd like to give and more a gift I remember getting a lot 🤣

3. Zombie's Lost Tooth

This one came to mind while I was trying to think of a monster drop as funny as Shrimp Meat~
Imagine dropping it in front of a friend and saying, “Hey OO, you dropped your tooth!” I bet their reaction would be pretty funny.
A Pig's Head could work along the same lines, too.

4. Trait Boost Potion

I'd love to give a friend a Trait Boost Potion as a joke,
in the hope that they'll behave a little better—at least in MapleStory.

For example, I could give one to a friend who's a strong T type

and tell them to work on that Empathy stat a little, right?

Sadly, there's a catch: Trait Boost Potions are untradeable!

5. Boss Face Coupon (Darknell Face)

That look of sheer determination!
Someone standing next to me with this face would somehow be reassuring and hilariously annoying at the same time.

If you and your friend are always playing pranks on each other, this face coupon could be one to keep in mind for their birthday.

Darknell is one thing, but Arkarium might just give him a run for his money..!

I feel bad for my character..
